My doctor determined it to be a vitamin D deficiency and suggested that I take 20,000iu per day. My leg pain improved within a couple of weeks. A lot of D3 supplements are 1,000iu so this is a great value that I don’t have to take as many pills per day. I love that the vitamin D3 also helps with depression and immunity. These pills are small and easy to swallow with no bad taste. I have a gluten allergy so I like that they are gluten free and soy free as well.

The quality of this vegan vitamin D3 is no different. Honestly, I didn’t really mind if they were vegan or not, I simply trust the brand. It has been raining a lot where I live lately (super unusual), and I could feel the need for vitamin D as I was becoming moody and tired. A few day after taking these vitamins, I could see changes and it felt great. I think the coconut oil increases the absorbance of the vitamin D so it may be why effects were seen in a few days. The soft gel are small so you can swallow them easily. You can also bite down the capsule to drink the liquid and it actually taste good (the smell isn’t great though)! Definitely recommend!
