I really love the shape of this shade and have been looking for quite some time for it. Thrilled when I received it (although one box looked like it had been munched on the way to me) and added it to the lamp. However, once I turned the light on, the texture of the shade really became apparent. It was way to "tweedy" looking to me as I thought it was more opaque. Sad to say...it's going back. Fast service and great quality - too !

lampshade was crooked, so it didn't look straight when attached. had to bend frame with pliers for it to hang straight
