I don’t think the bottom does much if you water from it. I’ve also gotten myself wet not knowing that much water went through from watering the plant a bunch of times. I’ve had some of these over a year. I give it 5 stars because the price literally can’t be beat for something so simple nowadays. It does seem bigger because it’s not circular. Pretty good base pot with drainage

I got this pot to put mint plants in and it was a great value! Target is the only place I’ve found decent plastic pots at a reasonable price. The pot drains well into the base and I haven’t had any issues with it so far.

These work okay, but do wish they were deeper without being wider to let the herbs grow a stronger root system. while I originally thought these would for watering from the bottom, for most plants they work better watering from the top and using the base to guard against overwatering.

This planter is great! It’s modern design is appealing. It has the bottom drainage to keep plants healthy. It’s lightweight so can be moved easily with soil. It is plastic so it won’t break easily. I really like it!
