A: The packaging and instructions say a maximum of two. "As high as you like" is misleading and is not correct.

I like this shelf a lot overall, it fits perfectly under our living room picture window. Easy to assemble and it’s low profile. Knocked off a star because ours was missing the back board but I was able to order the missing piece off the manufacturers website for free.

I bought these to hold my granddaughter's toys. However, I ended up returning it because the back of these bins is a thin cardboard piece. What a shame, because the top, bottom, and sides of this bin are nice sturdy laminate. Why they would cheapen the item by making the back a thin sheet of cardboard that is precariously held in place with a few thin finishing nails. Keep this in mind if you buy this product - it can probably hold lightweight items like pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, but I wouldn't use them to hold heavier objects.

If you're deciding between the square cubby shelves and this for toy storage, go with this one! These are deeper than the cubes due to the front lip AND they look nicer. Also, the toys are easily accessible for kids while still looking neat.

These are perfect for our playroom space. I originally purchased 3 with the intention of running them next to each other under a window, but didn’t like the layout. So I bought a fourth and stacked two each next to each other. It’s easier for the kids to cleanup by placing items back in the bucket, rather than having to pull out a storage cube to fill. They go together easily, the pieces are each marked with their respective letters and screws easily with a standard Phillips screwdriver (not included). Took me about 30 minutes for the first, closer to 15 minutes by the time I got to the fourth (solo). These need to face a wall, the back side is just thin cardboard so not designed for two sided view. These are particle board so they aren’t ask sturdy as ikea would be, but for our purposes they are great. One package did arrive with some damage which I was going to return but then realized the crushed edge won’t be visible and doesn’t compromise structural integrity so I decided just to keep and skip the return hassle of repackaging.
