Q: What are the dimensions of the base? It appears to taper down to a smaller footprint. I'm trying to fit something specific in it that needs at least an 11.5 inch wide base. Thanks!

I bought both the large and small baskets to stack and store potatoes and onions in my pantry. The opening in the front is too deep and doesn't hold produce in. Would be okay for storing packaged items if you weren't going to stack the baskets.

I loved these at first. I got the small and large to stack in my pantry. I planned to put potatoes in the larger basket and onions in the small one. The opening in the front is so deep though, that it doesn't hold loose objects very well. This item would be fine for storing boxed or canned items but not for produce that will roll out.

These baskets are sturdy and the large size stacks with the large size but 2 small sized can stack in a large but they have to be adjusted and not moved , if small is stacked. They are classy and can be displayed or put in cabinets. They are see through for quick sight organization.
