Summary of reviews
This tube amp impresses guests with its rich sound quality and versatility, making it suitable for both practice and live performances. The 1 watt and 15 watt settings allow for flexibility in volume, while the Celestion speaker enhances tonal richness. Many guests appreciate its build quality and affordability compared to other brands. However, some have noted minor issues with noise and the mirrored control panel, which can be challenging to read in low light.

Great amp, and not just "for the price"

I bought the Stage Right 15 largely because it's inexpensive for a tube amp, and the many positive reviews. Not much to add beyond what has already been said, but I will mention that its built-in attenuator works better than most other amp's attenuators that I've tried (in terms of sound quality at low volume). It works so well, in fact, that I want ahead and sold my Blackstar HT5 Mk2 that I was using for practice (an amp that costs at least double).

Best value for the price, makes my janky guitar sound amazing. A friend recommended Monoprice to me and I'm so glad I jumped on it.

Nice little powerful amp for the money. This amp is built well very solid construction looks great as well, easy to carry. The no frills gain and real spring reverb! is just right. Excellent sound quality for all generes music that great tube sound. I dont think you can beat it for the price. Not sure how long it will last or if it will crap out cant speak to that right now.
I recruited a new convert.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend. I own this amp, and I had raved about it to him, but he is all about the well-known, old-school brands of tube amps. I knew he'd never take a chance buying it for himself. He has gigging amps, but he didn't have an amp he could play at home. The 1-watt attenuator button is perfect for that. And the 15 tube watts makes it plenty loud for smaller gigs too. His reaction: blown away. I own several of those "old school" brand amps. But this is by far my favorite amp. And now, it just might be his too.

I love this amp. I had heard good things about it over time and had always wanted to try one. I finally decided the time was now and I bought it and I was not disappointed. I love the attenuator. The speaker is awesome. The tubes break up at just the right point in my humble opinion. Oh yeah, the price isn't so bad either. I would recommend this amplifier to anyone and I am very happy with my purchase.

Nice amp, sounds and looks great I was satisfied with the exception of some odd noise it makes There is an occasional rattle when the bass notes are played It sounds like a tube or speaker rattle and a slight squeal that seems to be related to the 15 to 1 watt button, also on occasion there is a slight popping sound when it is not receiving input otherwise it seems to do what it is reported to do don't want to void warranty by checking for lose screws or anything will see how it holds up during warranty period

My first tube amp, and it's pretty awesome! I am still learning to control my sound, it's so different from a solid-state amp, but the RANGE of sound available is great! I wish it was TWO channels with a footswitch, but looking at the prices of other tube amps, I am VERY satisfied ( it's not like I'm on stage, so I have plenty of time to dial in the sound I want, but a clean/overdrive switch would be nice)

For the money you can't go wrong. I just play for my own enjoyment now and wanted to go back to a tube amp sound. This fits my needs perfectly. The only complaint I have with the chrome faceplate. I would prefer it be flat black or a chocolate brown with a flat finish.

After many years of going down the modeling route, I took the plunge back into tube amps. I forgot what I was missing. This is a box of "tube goodness". Super impressed with the tone from this amp. Rich and full clean tone. Great breakup distortion for rock and blues. Add a few pedals and you can get about any tone you want. I would highly recommend this amp to anyone looking for a lower watt tube combo. The amp is plenty loud even at the 1 watt setting. It's great at 3 times the price! Don't hesitate, you will not be dissapointed.
Small Amp with a very Big Sound

So, I was looking into getting a Fender Blues Jr guitar amplifier for a tube-based (non-solid state) home practice amp that had a lot of flexibility. I took a chance and ordered this amp and I love it. The Celestion 12-inch speaker and the 15watt live-mode and 5watt practice mode are exactly as advertised. The sound quality is very well preserved in the 5watt mode. I get just as good a sound as a Fender Blues Jr Amp for more than half the price. There is an external 8-ohm/16-ohm speaker connector. After plugging that into a 4 x 12" Marshall speaker cabinet the sound was amazing. Like a Fender Reverb classic sound and at 15 watts has plenty of power to drive those quad 12-inch Marshall speakers. A very good amplifier for beginner as well as a middle to advanced guitar player who needs practice home and good sound performing live on stage. Great amp! very well done.
Great sounding amp.

Great sounding amp for the price. Clear separation of notes. Very loud when on 15 watt setting.

This is a fabulous little tube amp that sounds great and is packed with lots of power. The 1 Watt/15 Watt switch is great for retaining amazing sound at lower volume. If you are thinking about it, get it. You will be amazingly surprised at the big pupnch this little amp givbes.

The Stage Right 15 watt is a terrific tube amp. Love the analog spring reverb and being able to play full out at 1 watt, which produces very nice break up. The only negative is the control panel being mirrored, which makes it very hear to read. Zero desire for a Blues Junior now.

This amp is amazing! The build quality is exceptional. I have owned it for a while now, with no issues, and I do not expect any. It is very versatile, has the right features, and sounds better than other well respected top name tube amps that I own, that cost three times as much. This amp really is a no-brainer for anyone looking for a nice tube amp.

Excellent value. Great clean tone, great gain as well. Celestion speaker typically is found in a much more expensive cab. Highly recommend this amp!
Monoprice Stage Right 15 Watt Review

I was looking for a portable, low watt tube amp with a 12" speaker to use for band practice. The Monoprice Stage Right was exactly what I was looking for. It has been said that this amp is a poor man's Blues Junior and I believe that to be very true. However, having owned several Blues Jr's over the years, I can say that this amp sounds as good, if not better and in my opinion, it's because of the Celestion GT12-100 speaker. As of right now, I have not changed tubes; I will see how this plays out over the next 6 months before I make a decision. My only complaint is with the cabinet construction. I believe that the cabinet is not wood but OSB and on the front edges of the amp it has a rippled texture that I believe is an inherent trial of the OSB. It could also be due to faulty application of the tolex covering. Can't say for sure. However, this does not affect the performance of the amp and since it's just a practice amp for now, it's not a deal breaker for me. Well worth the money!
Great little amp! And surprising!

Amazing little amp! And surprising! I'm using it for live gigs and it's great. Also, it's perfect for harmonica amp; Great raspy harmonica blues and clean harmonica. I mic it off at gigs and run through a XR 18 mixer and Bose L1 Pro 16 PA for smaller venues. Larger venues I run the same setup but with 2 Behringer Eurolive B112Ds added to the PA. It sounds great through any mix I've put it through. Only suggestion I have to make it better is to change the chrome faceplate or at least the lettering on the faceplate. Difficult to read on stage. However, this is not a real problem as it's easy to learn which chicken foot knob does what. And I really love those chicken foot knobs! This little amp handles all my needs and does it very well. Looks like I'll be getting another 1x12 to match for harmonica.

Only have had amp a couple days, but so far very impressed with it overall! It's a good looking, quality built amp. And it sounds great! I am pinching myself that it looks and sounds this good for the low price of it! No regrets so far from me! Had several amps in my years of playing, and the cheapest was double the price of this one, and this amp blows it away!

I've had this for a couple of weeks now and am super pleased with the sound, weight and looks. Holds up with a band, sounds great at 1 watt. And at the price, hard to beat. A real stealth amp.
