Great little tambourine with nice metalic sound for my 11-month old granddaughter. It fits her little hand just right & she carries it around everywhere. Well made, with metal plates firmly attached to plastic frame. I believe the recommended age for this is 3 yrs and up, so keeping a close watch on her as she plays with it. Price was very reasonable. The company that supplied this via Target sells real instruments; am keeping the company info for when she's ready for further music making!
