I am so glad I ordered my Aeropilates reformer. I've been using it approximately 4 or 5 months and I could never say enough good things about this equipment. I had looked at local classes and they were so expensive for 1 hour classes. I looked online and decided it would be to ny advantage to just buy a reformer. Most weeks I've used the reformer 3 to 5 times a week. There are so many online videos in You Tube to train you in using it. I would definitely recommend anyone that likes pilates would like the reformer.

I have been a Physical Therapist for over 40 years so my back is shot but I need to stay in shape and strong for my work in a hospital. I am tired of gyms and the time they take out of my day but my back does not like my standing when using my free weights at home. This Pilates machine has been an answer to prayer: easy to use and as I can lay down for many exercises and sit for some I find it fantastic. It helps to be somewhat agile and have a general knowledge on exercises so I can work all muscle groups at various angles . Unlike rubber bands the resistance seems to remain even throughout the movement. This is my first time using a Pilates machine and again I love it. I am focusing on toning so do 20 reps continuously per exercise . Perhaps I should do a video to demonstrate the great variety of exercise I can do. I do single leg squats for max benefit as I am quite strong and this allows great workout. I can go on but I need to stop. Strongly recommend this machine for home use.

This reformer is a good starter reformer and a great reformer for older adults or anyone who has experienced changes in their movement, range of motion and flexibility. It is of good solid quality and will last when taken care of. It should not be kept for long periods of time in an area that is extremely hot (like a unventilated garage) due to some of the parts (like the track wheels, cushions, etc. ) will eventually dry rot, crack and/pr break/ breakdown. The only thing I would change is the tension. It would be so much better if it were spring tension rather than the bungee cord tension. Or at least offer an upgrade to replace with springs. Other than that, it’s a really good product, especially for those new to reformer.

I bought this a month ago and the jury is still out on this. It's a bit clunky (maybe I put together incorrectly) and the reformer board is so long I cannot do the mermaid exercise with my knee up against the foam pads. Also, the DVD exercises and Youtube videos instruct changing tension cords and I only have the black tension cords all 24 lbs. On the good side it wasn't difficult to put together.

For the Mermaid exercise if your legs are shorter than the cushion you can put a pillow in front of the foam rolls to help move your body further down the cushion. First time user and I’m loving my machine. I look forward to my almost daily workouts, and within 2 weeks found myself more flexible. I can’t cross my legs yet but maybe in the months to come. I’m older, unfit, overweight and inflexible, but with the exercises being slow and controlled I can still use and enjoy this machine at my own pace. 👍

Acetate for a home gym. It would be nice if you included the double straps instead of the gross fuzzy things. The carriage or sled of what ever arrived with a tear in the surface. Way too much styrofoam in the packaging.

It is NOT the industrial strength machine you would get at a gym, but we are very happy with the capabilities of this machine for home use. It was not too difficult to put together. If you can only buy one exercise machine, this may be the one to get since you can do so many exercises on it.

This arrived at our house a day early so our helper was not available. The box weighed 104 lbs. We brought the device upstairs by opening the box downstairs and taking out pieces. Instructions and included tools made it easy to assemble, but good to have two people share the load. All parts were in the box, yay. Included were two good training DVDs. So far, everything including the rebounder works. Our only complaint is the movement is somewhat rougher than we'd like. We exoect we can use oil or graphite to improve sliding. The reformer adjusts for both of us at 5'4" and 5'9". The owner's manual says a user can weigh up to 300 lbs. That seems a lot for this size system. If we put the reformer on the floor instead of using the stand, we could fold up the device when not in use. We like the stand but it cannot be folded. Overall, this is a good deal that soon pays for itself if one goes to Pilates twice a week as we did. Comment: the last time we were in a Pilates gym, the woman huffing next to me said she felt sick but believed she needed to use the gym anyway. Having had a few relatives catch Covid, we didn't agree, and for now we prefer working out at home.

This machine (Premier 700 model) is an excellent starter machine for those on a budget and who are do not want to spend a small fortune on a pilates machine (like myself). It's a great value and performs very well. It's all mechanical and easy to figure out (plus you can replace most of the parts if needed).. So far so good. I love the instructional videos that come with it. The instructor is very user-friendly and i really like her teaching style. Explains concepts very well. I purchased the pull-up bar a few days later. The entire unit was easy to assemble, and i'm 65 years old. Again, this model is a great bargain for those starting out and those who cannot afford to spend a small fortune on a machine that may end up as a clothes drying rack later on (for those who lose interest in learning pilates). I wanted something that was easy on my joints and can use well into my golden years. I think i've fount it!
