I was initially excited to see these online, as the target up and up brand of self -sealing security envelopes (which were wonderful) were no longer in stock for some reason. I am really disappointed with the Staples brand envelopes --and really surprised at the quality. While your envelopes appear to be sealed, unlike any other brand of self -sealing envelopes, these can be reopened. in other words, there is nothing secure about whatever you have in your envelope. Every other brand of self -envelopes that I've ever used, once you peel off the strip and press the envelope closed, it's permanently closed until the receiver of the envelope tears it open. This brand fails in the security department and opens again again. I decided to do a bit of an "experiment" and see if maybe it seals permanently after a few minutes, and, no, it does not. I waited to see if my letters permanently sealed after a day or two, before sending, and I found that these are not permanently sealed at all. Basically, as mentioned, whatever you put in these envelopes will not be secure, unless you use tape to seal them. These are a complete disappointment, and I wish I could give them zero stars. The quality is poor, and I do not recommend these at all.
