Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend

I've been a Star Trek TOS fan since it first aired in 1966. Going by what I saw during the recent marathons, the CGI is a bit hit and miss....planet scenes look fantastic while some of the CGI productions of the Immunity Syndrome creature look better in the original version. Still.... Trek. Life-time love. I wanted the set, but heard some bad things about the complete sets (layered discs packaging fiasco, not the show) so I ordered seasons one and two individually. Package arrived and... uh oh. I don't think the Season 2 box is supposed to sound like broken dilithium crystals in a vase. It was enough to make Scotty cry into his glass of scotch. Will be returning both in case I end up getting the entire set.....or just wait for the next anniversary with hopefully better packaging. This made for one sad Trekkie. Five stars for Roddenberry's vision. No stars for the packaging.
