The voice changing effect didn’t work at all. In fact it’s just the Vader breathing sound and no real voice alteration which was a HUGE disappointment at this price point. Buyer beware. The sayings are fun and it’s still a fun mask but not a $50 toy.

My older son (16) keeps playing with the mask and so he loves the voice. My daughter (14) also was having fun playing with it. So I think it doesn’t matter the age as long as you enjoy it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have some huge star wars fans in our house and boy were they excited to get this Darth Vader Voice Changer Mask. My 5 year old son couldn’t rip it out of the packaging fast enough and put it on his head. The mask itself is very easy to put on and had adjustable straps which is nice because we also have a 2 1/2 year old trying to put it on as well. The mask itself is not very heavy and I think their favorite feature is that when they have it on the eyes are red so when they are looking out everything looks red to them. I think we will be having many more night of fun with with mask!

He loves the mask and honestly my husband and I have been playing with it too. It fits comfortably and the sound effects are fantastic! Something about toys has a way of bringing the child out in all of us.
