I bought this product to connect two screens at once to my laptop. I already have a similar product from a different company. And it's working fine. Unfortunately, this one only supports one screen. So I can use the HDMI connection or the Displayport connection, but not both together. So it's pretty useless for me.

You are correct that the CDP2DPHD only supports a single display at a time. It is a travel adapter that can help you connect to a variety of displays you might encounter on the go. We do have other adapters that support dual displays from a single USB-C port. If you would like help finding one for your setup, please don't hesitate to contact our support directly.
