I haven't had it long, and I'm already in love with it. It's my first Staub piece of enameled cast iron cookware, and I will definitely be getting more. I researched enameled cast iron before buying, and I have been preheating with a little bit of oil before cooking. I have had no issues and clean up so far has been a breeze. Absolutely worth splurging on.

You can never go wrong with Staub. This 12” braiser with heavy domed glass top is good to go to 500 deg. Browns so evenly and it’s nice to have a large stovetop to oven to table with look and cook ease to keep an eye on things. This braiser can do it all.

Beautiful Product! So happy with the way it looks and feels. The Color on the enamel is so pretty and deep. The Glass lid is beautiful and a change of pace to the other cast iron lids. The texture inside is nice and handles are useful. Not too big or small. I really like the weight. We got this as a compliment to our larger 7qt Cocotte so we have something to make small sauces and dishes in for dinner for 2.

The only disappointment I have is why a white substance after washing is visible. I wonder if it will go away or is there a diff way to wash it because I followed exactly the instructions on how to wash it at Zwilling website. other than that, I am very happy with this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm pleased with the braiser's quality, versatility, and craftsmanship, and am glad I purchased Staub over Le Creuset for half the price. I'm a little concerned that Staub may discontinuing the matte black enamel finish (which I think is fantastic and will choose for subsequent pieces) because it is on clearance or out of stock at most retailers. I haven't had it long enough to rate the wear and longevity of the piece but fully expect it to perform well for years, and will update this review if that's not the case.
