Description
Stella Rosa Black Cherry Semi-Sweet Red Wine is a proprietary blend of several red grape varietals. The wine is combined with natural flavors of natural black cherry distillates & purée. The grapes are harvested, pressed, centrifuged, and then held cold as juice at 28 degrees Fahrenheit. The juice is fermented at various intervals throughout the year allowing the wine to remain fresh and delicate. The juice is fermented in Charmat-style, pressurized tanks. During this process, the alcohol is created in tandem with the wine’s natural carbonation. Once the desired sweetness is achieved, the wine is centrifuged and bottled. The alcohol level stays at approximately 5% and contains 10% residual sugar. Its natural acidity and low pH strike the perfect balance with the wine’s inherent sweetness. It is not cloying or heavy. Serve chilled by-the-glass, pour over ice, or mix with your favorite spirit for an all natural, fruit-forward cocktail.

This is another wine that I discovered that is inexpensive but tastes so good! The black cherry flavor has a rich flavor and the cherry notes standout which is exactly what I was looking for. The bottle is pleasing and it has a twist open cap so no cork makes it easy to store what’s left. It has a nice aroma and dark cherry color when poured. I had my glass with a steak and baked potato and it paired very well. Not too sweet but not bitter either. A good balance for me.
Its smooth texture and balanced sweetness make it a perfect choice for anyone craving a fruity drink.

I like how subtle the alcohol tastes and there’s definitely a dominating sweet flavor but it’s not too sweet. The cans are small, so it would be good for a picnic or date night. It’s very delicious.
