My grandson likes the original "It". He saw the newest movie and said that it wasn't bad. I am Stephen King fan and enjoy his books and movies. I thought he should have the original, too. We use to watch the original all the time. I have always loved the cast, drama, and storyline of "It".

IT WAS A MADE FOR T.V. MINI SERIES FROM 1990 BASED ON THE STEPHEN KING BOOK OF THE SAME NAME. BACK IN THE DAY WHEN NETWORKS STILL BELEIVED IN THE MOVIE OF THE WEEK OR THE MINI SERIES . THE CAST INCLUDES ANNETTE O TOOLE, HARRY ANDERSON,DENNIS CHRISTOPHER, RICHARD MASUR, TIM REID, THE LATE GREAT JOHN RITTER, AND TIM CURRY AS PENNY WISE THE CLOWN. AS FAR AS MADE FOR T.V. FILMS GO IT GAVE ME THE WILLIES FOR YEARS TO COME. EVERYTIME IT RAINS OR IF I WALK PAST A SIDE WALK WITH A STORM DRAIN OR SEWER IT MAKES ME THINK WHAT IF SOME THING WAS OR IS LIVING IN ARE SEWER SYSTEMS JUST WAITING TO SUCK US DOWN?! I HAVE NEVER LIKED CLOWNS EVEN AS A KID IT GOES BACK TO THE TIME I SAW POLTERGEIST YOU KNOW THE PART WHEN THE CLOWN DRAGS THE KID UNDER THE BED!!! THE THING THAT IS SO FREAKY ABOUT STEPHEN KINGS IT IS THAT IT CAN TAKE WHATEVER SHAPE IT WANTS TO BE . THE STORY AND MOVIE PREYS ON YOUR CHILD HOOD FEARS AND THATS WHAT IT IS ITS WHATEVER SCARES YOU!! AGAIN THEY COULD ONLY DO SO MUCH WITH THE FILM BEING MADE FOR TELEVISION IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THIS I SUGGEST READING STEPHEN KINGS IT THE BOOK FIRST BEFORE YOU SEE THIS MOVIE IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THIS YET... YOU WONT SOON FORGET IT!!!. THE ONLY SPECIAL FEATURE IS A AUDIO COMMENTARY.
