Q: If there is a good amount/half of the original contents in the can, can I store (sealed with original top) and reuse? Store in the basement away from fuel? Or do I need to discard.

A: Hello! You can reseal the can for future use. However, since air has entered the cannister, the product may dry up while stored. If dried upon reopening, you should discard.

Q: Can it be used for my fondue set?

A: Sterno's ethanol-based chafing fuel can be used with a fondue set providing the unit can accommodate the chafing fuel can and provide at a least 2” of clearance from the top of the can and the bottom of the fondue pot. If using a gel fondue burner (image attached), the fuel can be scooped directly from the chafing fuel can into the gel fondue burner. It is important to follow the fondue pot’s manufacturer’s instructions regarding the amount of fuel the gel fondue burner will accommodate. A few safety points: • Never add more fuel to gel fondue burner while the fuel is burning. • Never overfill the gel fondue burner. • Never move a fondue unit while the heat source is burning.

Q: Can you use this to roast marshmallows? I see someone said they worked great for it but is it safe to consume via marshmallow? Are they basically the same as the smore's cans?

A: Thanks for the question. Sterno recommends using the S’mores Maker or S’mores JR appliance for roasting marshmallows.

Q: the dimensions say 2.2 feet long. impossible if it is also only 3" wide and round. I'm assuming that is a misprint.
