iGo Navigation is a good backup to online maps

Navigation is as advertised. I really wish it was possible to update the maps over the USB connection on the head unit. Having to take the card back out to update is a bit of an inconvenience since it requires some dash disassembling.

Once installed/removed/updated/reinstalled it all works well. Instructions say to update it before installing - but you really need to install it first and run the setup before the update can be done. Slight glitch, but not a showstopper. Otherwise it runs fine. Great graphics.

Was easy to install but there should be better directions on if the card needs updated when purchased new or just install. Also there needs to be an easier way to update once installed in radio so you don't have to tear dash apart to update. Like micro sd extension cable.

I've always used Garmin but bought iGo as an upgrade to the Heigh10 stereo. The first time I used it I discovered a few quirks that I've not seen on other navigation systems. The first is that north is always at the top of the screen, the iGo screen does not rotate so that the car icon is moving up. This is a little confusing when travel south as the turns on screen are opposite of what you'd expect. Second, several times the iGo had us exit a highway at a junction with another road only to have us immediately use the on ramp to get back on the same road. Overall these are minor issues that I adapted to quickly. I was very impressed with the voice prompts and the on screen cues at off ramps and road changes, you're given enough advance notice to make lane changes and know exactly what to do. Overall, I'm happy with the iGo system and feel it was well worth the additional cost.

Experience was very good overall. This for the Heigh10 radio. It works very well. Pretty accurate. A little high price. Easy to install. Have not tried to update the maps yet.

I love it. I had the 8.4 but this is an improvement over it! I multiple functionality especially for cameras. The only functionality I seem to have lost is remote start/lock and unlock using the Uconnect app. The downside for the Wrangler is there is not really enough space to fit all of the wiring. Getting that in so the radio would be flush was the worst part of it all. All of the connections were 100% plug and play. Tech support even helped me troubleshoot an issue I encountered.

Like the fact that no data needed to use. Have experienced some speed limits not accurate. Need to try to see if there‚ a map update but just by glancing at instructions, seems more complicated than my Garmin. Also I own a base Tacoma so there is no factory GPS cable. Had to use supplied GPS antenna so still trying to figure where to put it so it doesn‚ keep losing satellite signal. Overall I‚ pretty satisfied and would recommend.
Need to pull screen off to update NAV in HEIGH10

So, this is something you find out after the fact. In order to update the Maps you need to pull the screen back out of the Jeep, eject the card, connect to a PC, download the tool to update the maps, use a USB device that reads that card, update the card, put is back in, test the system works and re attached the screen. About one hour job for a normal person with risk of damaging the screen by taking it off and on . Note: attaching the screen is the hardest part of the install / reinstall. Love the unit, but they could have extended the USB input to the side panel.

I purchased this after I had bought the Heigh10 knowing that I'd be doing some offroading/overlanding in areas that wouldn't have cell service. Maps seems to be fairly decent. Gui interface is easy to use. Would definitely recommend to other Heigh10 users.
Works great.
