Sticky part not strong enough

While trying to line the magnet up with the paper guides it got stuck to the paper after I removed the plastic part and was hard to get the paper off the sticky part. I finally got that removed and put it on my phone. Then when I put the magnet / my phone on the charger it worked ok, slid a little down from the weight of the phone, but when I tried to take my phone off the charger the magnet stayed stuck to the charger instead of to my phone. Now the sticky residue is not sticky enough to keep the magnet solidly on my phone. Good in theory but ended up being a waste of money for me.
