A: Dear customer, thank you for your question. We are sorry we could not reply earlier. The opposite side is closed with a long side rail. Thus a cat could hardly go underneath your bed. Hope this help !

Q: How deep are the inside of the drawers (height) ? May I order 3 more drawers and add them to the other side?

A: Hi, thank you for your question. The inside of the drawers height is 4 3/4''. Our bedframe can only accomodate 3 drawers. It is reversible. Best regards !

Q: Is this bed made of MDF? I am concerned about toxic formaldehyde fumes. I saw elsewhere that Nexera 376005 is made of particleboard, MDF.

This bed came damaged and one of the the pieces was black and it’s supposed to be natural.

Dear Susan, we are sorry we did not notice your comment earlier and to know your bed arrived damaged. Please know our warranty as the manufacturer will cover replacement parts free of charge for 1 year. Unless the whole bed came damaged and needs replacement, we'd be happy to replace your damaged parts quickly. For your black piece, we will reuse some of our laminate finish for non visible parts in order to reduce our ecological footprint and not waste the extra laminate finish we have.If the black part you receive is a visible components once our bed assembled, make sure you reach out to our customer service so they can assist you on replacing that particular piece.
