Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chair 2 and Newborn Set - White

We love our Stokke! My baby is 4 months old and now wants to always be around people and socialize. She loves being at the same level as our family at the table and the Stokke lets her do this at just 4 months! I wish we could travel with it we love it so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the title says, I love this highchair! My kiddo is 4.5 months old, and we've been using the infant seat for about a month now. It's so nice that he's able to sit so close to the table and be a part of our meal. Honestly, I wish we had it from birth - it would have been nice to have him that close when he was teeny tiny too. My kiddo seems to really enjoy the toy holder - we can dangle the toys at a good height that he can reach, and he likes holding the arm too :) Overall, the highchair has a much smaller profile compared to other highchairs we've used, which saves some space for us in the kitchen. The little leg extension things help keep it more stable on our ceramic tile, but I wish it was on small wheels to move around more easily. If we had hardwood floors, I would be concerned about scratching the floor. I am excited for him to be a bit older and use the baby seat in a few months. I'm not sure if I like the idea of not having a separate tray for him, but it will be fun to have him so close to us while we all eat as a family. We'll find out soon! Putting it together was a bit harder than I had anticipated, but really not that bad in the grand scheme of baby stuff assembly. We haven't adjusted the seat & foot rest too much, but it seems like a fairly simple task to loosen, move, and re-tighten when you want to adjust the height. We did try it as an adult seat, and I love the idea that it can be used basically forever - how many other baby products allow that?! Basically none! ha! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Babygirl is 4 months old now and is very clingy. I can't spend more than 5 minutes in a separate room without her crying and screaming. This chair has helped so much, I am able to clean the house while she is nearby, I think what helps and makes the difference from her being in her bouncer or swing is the high level. She doesn't seem to like the floor bouncer much unless I am sitting next to her on the floor. She really enjoys the comfort of the seat and has even fallen asleep in it numerous times. The five point harness gives me piece of mind when washing dishes or cooking. The set up of the chair was fairly easy, only required a screw driver and snapping some pieces into place, it took about an hour but only because I had to multitask. I'm sure it could've been done in half the time. I liked that the color was a clean white with the infant insert a light grey, we have darker pieces in our home but this didn't stand out too much because of the white walls. The mobile included didn't come with a toy so we just use whatever we already have, it seemed to work out well. We were going to use a traditional chair but I'm so glad we didn't because this chair is just so much better. I like that we can just scoot it into the table when baby starts eating. I researched and looks like you can purchase the tray separate. I have used tray table chairs before and I am not really a fan of them but that is a personal preference, this chair is minimal and I love that it can be used in multiple stages as child grows, I love the adjustable feet rests. It makes it worth it because the least amount of items to have around the better, especially with multiple kids. I wish I had this chair with my older kiddos. I wish we would have considered this item sooner and with our first baby. Very easy to put together, it is self-assembled furniture, but all the parts aligned well and the instructions were very clear. The wood, fabric and plastic clips are very durable and high quality. The Newborn Set attachment is great for it’s height! No more bending over to use other short newborn seats or bouncers. Our baby girl can now see what I’m doing in the kitchen or sit table height for dinner. She loves watching her brother, so getting to see what’s going on during dinner helps keep her content and entertained. The interchangeable parts for growing allows you to continue to use the main base which is ideal if you’re living in a smaller space, or a space with less storage like us. The cushion of the seat is very simple to remove for easy washing. The chair is a nice design, but is a bit cumbersome to move if you’re looking to use from room to room. Our son is large enough to use just the seat as a booster and is a great height for him. The one con is that most growing stages require you to purchase additional parts.

I love the newborn attachment-our son enjoys being able to sit close to the counter while we’re preparing meals, eating or working on projects at the table with our older children. I think what he enjoys about it is that it’s up higher so he can see what’s going on instead of being on the ground below the action in a bouncer seat. I love that the seat can be flat for smaller babies or angled so as they get bigger they can see and interact more easily. It’s so easy to adjust the straps to get a great fit and the buckle is very easy to use. We have used it multiple times a day since we got it, I truly love this high chair for that seat! It’s an added bonus that it fits in seamlessly with our decor, it truly feels like it was made for our space and I love that it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb or is big and bulky like a lot of highchairs. We haven’t used it as a high chair yet as our son isn’t ready for solids yet, but I do love how this high chair can do it all, and grow with baby from the second they come home until adulthood even! The buckles on the high chair part are more difficult to unclip-however, that is probably a good thing so that kiddos can’t get out themselves! It was very easy to put together, but I would recommend not tightening everything fully until you have it all together as I had to loosen the sides so I could slide the seat and footrest in as initially it was too tight to get them on. My favorite thing about this chair so far is the newborn attachment. We use it 3-4x minimum every day, and will be able to do so for years to come! It makes meals and meal prep so much easier. It doesn’t take up a lot of room compared to other traditional high chairs, and blends into my kitchen with its neutral colors! I love that you can pull it right up to the table or attach a tray. I do feel like the tray should be included for the price point. So far I have only been able to use the newborn seat for my daughter until she is older but it’s been great! It’s so lightweight to move around the kitchen too. I would definitely recommend this high chair!

Oh my, I was wondering how something like this would function for a newborn and it works wonders! No lie I was excited how easy it was to put together by myself. Took me about 15 minutes and I'm not the most patient person when it comes to setting things up. At first I was confused at the design of the chair, but setting it up and seeing the function of it made so much sense! A high chair that grows with your child and takes up little space is a win for a home that has limited space. My baby girl loves being in the newborn attachment! I love the function of it having her laying down or being able to recline with her being upright at a perfect angle (great for after a feeding to be upright). Sometimes after a feeding and burping, you don't have the luxury to sit and hold them upright for digestion of their milk. As a busy mom, this works great when I have to cook or do the dishes or even eat while baby is hanging out with me in the highchair. I am excited to use the next attachment for the highchair when my daughter is able to sit up and start baby foods. We also use this when we are watchin tv in the livingroom. It is a great height and nice to have by you when you want a break from holding the baby. My 3 year old loves sitting in the chair too when I remove the newborn attachment. It's easy for him to climb on and off without me worrying the chair will tip all thanks to the leg design with great support and weight distribution of course with my supervision. A great recommendation for a high chair that you don't need to get rid of after your child out grows the baby/toddler phase.

I recently had my third child and I have had 4 different highchairs over the last 3.5 years. This is the BEST. We used the newborn set with my infant (he’s 3 weeks!) and I loved that it keeps him safe from my toddlers. The base of the chair is very sturdy with the newborn seat and I don’t worry about anyone (my 2 toddlers!) knocking/pulling him over. I love that it has straps so he’s secure and it’s become my go-to spot to put him down when I need a free second because he’s happy in it and I love the peace of mind that it provides! I also used the highchair seat with my 20 month old and loved it! So easy to set up and most importantly, SO easy to clean! Bonus points that it looks so nice in my house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to receive this Tripp Trapp Newborn bundle as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was so excited because this is my favorite high chair, I have two of them for my older kids but have never tried the newborn seat. I was actually a little skeptical because I wasn’t sure how sturdy it would be but it was really easy to install and is very secure. The seat itself just snaps into place without using any tools and the cover comes off easily for washing. The seat is padded and cozy and my baby actually prefers it to her swing. My daughter gets fussy in the evenings so eating together as a family is always hard but with this newborn seat she can join us at the table and we have been able to eat meals together again as a family. I love that she can have her to have her own chair to grow into as my 2 year old and 4 year old still use theirs. The design is sleek and doesn’t take up as much space as traditional high chairs, I have three of them around my dining table and it works perfectly. The only downside I would say is that its a pricey add on for only six months of use but if you plan to use with multiple children you’ll definitely get your monies worth.

We were so fortunate to receive this from Stellar Panel - it was the item we didn’t know we needed! Our sweet babe always had to sit on the floor in a bouncer at meal times and now he can be up sitting with us. On top of that, it has an attachment to attach a toy so that he can have extra entertainment. Our little one is just now learning how to hold onto toys - so this is perfect! I love the idea that this high chair lasts from newborn (hello, what other high chair can support an infant?) to adulthood. Aside from the newborn attachments making it a great option for little babies, the idea behind having a place for bigger kids and toddlers to set their feet is great! I also tried this seat out with my older child and have already purchased another one so she can have one too! It was also wonderful to be able to bring the chair into the kitchen and have him close by to help soothe or engage with him. The design and look is also great. Seems to be made out of quality products and is attractive to the eye! The only negative was my husband struggled with the directions on building the seat initially. We are so thankful for this seat, as we value our time at meals together as a family. Wonderful product, must buy!!!

This is a pretty cool chair, the best feature of this chair is that it bring him to the SAME TABLE as his older brothers. He gets a HUGE kick about being at the same lvl and will sit much better in this chair. For the newborn seater, it is great to have a newborn up at your level while you eat, I love it. I built it myself in about 30 minutes, my mom did complain about the legs sticking out a lot and stubbing her toe but I do think thats a little inevitable. I did have to knock off a star due to the fact that for building, they make you measure where to put certain slats. I need things black and white, its be nice if they put little marks for where things should align to.

It would never have occurred to me to get a high chair for a newborn, but this has been a game changer. My baby wants to be held all the time and hates her other chairs, but loves this one. It’s also the perfect height so that our dogs can’t lick and sniff her constantly. It’s also really nice to be able to pull her up to the table with us so we can keep an eye on her while we are eating. We love it so much we are getting a second one for my mom’s house. It’s certainly more expensive than some other high chairs, but the quality is great and it will last a long time and through many stages.

The newborn attachment let our daughter feel apart of dinner time even though she is not eating solids yet. She even loves to lounge in it as I make dinner in the kitchen. It has an attachment me that allows for a toy to hang, which helps keep her entertained. We also have a 3.5 year old and loves it too! It fits him so much better than his old high chair. We bought a Tripp Trapp chair just for him! Cannot wait to see both of kids grow with their chairs.

My son is 4 months old and not yet sitting up unsupported so having the newborn seat attachment was amazing. It raised him up to be at the table while we ate as a family and adjusted to tilt him more upright to see us. It also go him off the floor and away from my toddler’s reach which was not possible with a bouncy seat. It made cooking a breeze having him close by. My son is able to grab and play at any toy we want to hang from the convenient hook that came with the newborn seat. The Tripp trapp chair is also designed very nicely and doesn’t take up as much space as other high chairs. I used to constantly hit my feet on the wide bottoms of other chairs. The design is also super simple and easy to clean, no hidden nooks and crannies to trap gross food and crumbs. How much more convenient can a high chair be when you can use it from BIRTH through childhood. We are so excited to begin baby led weaning in a couple months with the other seat attachment. The simple colors of these high chairs are also pleasant to the eye and blend seamlessly with your home. 5 stars for the Tripp Trapp chair!

The best part about this chair is being able to use it with a newborn right from birth. The baby is able to “sit” with the family and be included with family meals. Prior to using this chair my baby would join us for meals in a bouncer on the floor where she really couldn’t see us at all. She would end up getting upset, so either myself or my husband would hold her and try to eat at the same time for the remainder of the meal, which as parents know is not easy. My baby is 4 months old, small for her age and unable to sit unassisted at this point, so this has been so helpful at meals. I had never even thought about being able to use a high chair with a newborn. When I sit next to her she is right at my level and I can talk to her, and she can see me and everyone else at the table very easily. I have also used it so she can see me better when I’m making dinner and cleaning up afterwards. She also likes to join her siblings at that table when they are doing schoolwork/crafts, etc. The chair is solid wood and sturdy. I like that is can be used at all stages of life- it’s even strong enough for adults, so you can keep it after your baby grows up. It was more of a challenge to put together than I anticipated. The instructions just included pictures, there were no written instructions, and I felt like some were a little difficult to interpret. In order to change the positions of the seats you have to loosen the screws on the sides of the chair, so that will be a little bit of a pain switching between stages. The design is more on the modern side so it doesn’t coordinate the best with traditional furniture. Overall I really like this chair because of the newborn feature. I had never even thought of the possibility of our baby being at the table before but it really makes a huge difference at mealtime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Newborn high chair!? Say no more! I received this Tripp Trapp Newborn bundle high chair from Stellar Product Testing Center to review! We fell in love instantly! The newborn seat is amazing and allows your baby to be right at the table with you and your family safely. Our baby loves being in the comfy newborn seat, so now dinner time is much easier for us! The five point baby harness is also super easy to use thanks to the construction of it. The high chair is 100% beech wood and made to grow with them for a lifetime! This high chair takes up about 60% less space then a regular high chair and is easy to move around! It also came with anti-tipping backs for the legs. In this bundle, it came with the baby back rest, 5 point harness and the rail to transition to when your baby is ready to sit up and eat! The chair already has the toddler seat and adult seat which is used for your toddlers feet in the mean time. We wish we had this chair for our other babies we love it so much!

We love that we have somewhere to lay our boy down while we cook, eat, and play in the kitchen/living room where he can still be a part of what’s going on. We love to do arts and crafts of all kinds at our table and it’s great that he can be right there watching and learning from the beginning. I love that this chair will be useful all through his life! One less it that makes its way to a landfill! It was SUPER easy to put together. I do wish that there were indicators on the sides of the seat and foot boards that helped you line them up correctly rather than having to guess or get a measuring tape. I also wish the newborn seat was more adjustable. It only has two angles that you can set it at. It would be nice if there were more.
