Q: What is the difference between brookside and alpine changing dresser

A: Hello Carol, That is a very interesting question. The Brookside 2 Drawer with Changing Topper is smaller in size and has only two drawers and two squares where you can place all the changing items, while the alpine is more of a drawer, there are only two versions of the Alpine, one with 6 drawers that can be use as a changer too and the one with 4 drawers that does not have the changing topper function.

Q: So just to clarify, the changing pad part does not come attached already? I would like to use the dresser without the changing topper having to be on since I will be using the keekaroo changing pad.

The material is very sturdy, but unfortunately on the changing topper part there is a bolt that shows on the front. It is noticeable in the picture, but only when you zoom in. I only noticed in the picture after putting it together and being upset with the screw showing, so I went to see how it looked on the picture.
