Stove Top Cornbread Stuffing is the best and easiest side dish you can make. I used to make a time consuming home made stuffing and then I got smart! I prepare Stove Top and add grilled onions and raisins! Done. This stuffing tastes fabulous, fresh and I can focus on the other recipes I’m preparing without concern. A definite family favorite!

I've tried the regular Stovetop stuffing but never had the cornbread one before. It's delicious! I think I like it even more then then the regular version. It cooks so quick and fluffs up nicely when done cooking. I didn't add anything extra this time, but you could probably cook up some yellow onions and celery to toss in to add even more texture and flavor.

This stuff is really good in a pinch. Is it the same as nana's homemade cornbread dressing? Of course not. But is it delicious? Heck yusssss! I use this on its own or with added veggies. Sometimes i use it in recipes or on top of pork chops with gravy. They go wonderfully in Thanksgiving leftover egg rolls, too. The possibilities are endless.

I followed the directions, adding the correct water. cornbread dressing should have been a treat, not to be tossed out. It was just too salty, way way over the necessary. we use salt on all our foods so that was not the issue.

Homemade will always be best. But for a box mix? You can’t really beat this. Lots of flavor and quick to make. It’s good even when it’s not Thanksgiving.

Super easy to prepare. Would be spot-on flavor profile if not for the 470mg sodium - per serving! that overrides every bite. Leaves the back of your throat feeling raw from the incredibly salty taste. I really wish these processed food people would lay off the over-salting of their mixes. People can always ADD salt if they wish - but they cannot overcome the overly-salty prepared foods! Going forward, I will make a cornbread to cut this by 50% and hope that will reel in the overwhelming salty flavor. Hoping that Target.com will add the Cornbread Stuffing mix by Mrs. Cubbinson's which has a mere 220mg salt per serving and has excellent reviews among those customers patronizing the stores that carry it!

Stove Top Stuffing is so fast and easy to make that you can eat it for dinner any time. This cornbread version is the tastiest. To make it even better, I chop up some celery and onion and cook it in half the recommended amount of butter and then add the water and bring it to boil. Then I whisk an egg into the water with a fork and then gently fold the bag of stuffing mix into it with the fork to retain some texture. I do wish Kraft would improve the ingredients by using whole wheat flour and leaving out the high fructose corn syrup and partially hydrogenated oils.

Good taste, decent texture, as long as too much water isn't added. Start with recommended measure of water, a little more than recommendation on butter...and do not over cook. Steam is the key!
