This hat would survive a war!! I bought this hat before I took a trip to Maine in which I knew I would be frequenting the beach, the boat and the sunshine. We went sailing one of the days and the wind was blowing nearly 30 knots and our boat was at a major tilt that I almost thought I was gonna tip right out of the side. This hat was flopping around but it never budged! And a friend of mine lost his baseball cap on the same trip. I have since taken this hat to Hawai’i on a catamaran and fishing out on the shore in windy areas and it has made it through all with no issues. I am very impressed! Worth it to get if you are looking for a hat that will protect you from the sun AND survive your craziest gusts and adventures!
