These used to be my favorite flavor. After finishing a bag I used to get that tingly sweaty feeling in my face because of the sourness but not anymore. After the manufacturer switched they are not nearly as sour and don't taste quite as good. Very disappointing and will no longer be my go to sour candy.

As everyone stated, the old recipe used to be so much better. It was actually sour and different. Now it’s very disappointing and yuck. They changed their look and flavor. So sad about the change. Bring back the old recipe!

Honestly, I was afraid to try it because so many people say it changed the recipe 😭 but it wasn’t bad at all! It tasted amazing!

This is the best sour candy I’ve ever had in my life. So much so, that it started becoming a problem. I was eating a pack of these DAILY, when I am not a daily candy consumer. All of that to say, I will continue buying them as a treat (because they’re insanely sour and soft texture) but it will be in moderation now! I wish target kept the flavors in stock. I’ve hunted the Super Target and PFresh store near me, and they’re out of stock half the week.

I had hoped maybe, just maybe the recent reviews were wrong. I hoped I would like the changed taste others were writing about. But nope, I can confirm they are now disgusting. They taste totally different and even the texture changed. It reminds me of a rotten Fruit Rollup mixed with wax lips from the 1980s. Terrible.

These were SO good, they tasted exactly like the sour strips I used to get from Sweet Factory growing up. I had been so excited to find them. Now, the last few bags I’ve bought all don’t taste the same, they look a bit different with a darker stripe on each side, their texture is different and they just aren’t anywhere near as good. SO disappointing that they changed their recipe.

I have been purchasing these for several years. Recently I picked up two bags and one of them was absolutely terrible! On inspection, the “newer” bag had a different manufacturer and ingredients than the “older” bag. They have clearly changed the recipe for the worse. Will not repurchase.

I thought the color of the candy looked different when i was eating it. it used to be just red and now it has a mix of pink in it only to come here and realize they changed the recipe. Its ok not terrible but not sure why they had to change something good. also the new recipe makes them crumble and fall apart. ruined
