It is a very comfortable chair and served my purpose perfectly - Except (and this ruined the purchase for me) the web site at the time said its lowest height was 23” . Hopefully this is corrected to 27” as the chair, once assembled was at its lowest at 27”. I finally called the company to be informed of the typo on the web site ): I purchased this specifically for my dad who is in his late 80s and has hip problems - if the stool dropped 4” it would have been perfect for him to sit on at his kitchen table.
