I can no longer find the purple spray, level 3, it has been replaced by the pink spray which is a level 6. The pink is too strong and heavy on my hair. 🤬

As a curly girl I'm always looking for something to help make my curls happy. Hair spray is always a fickle thing for my hair but this spray is tried and true every time I use it. Not sticky, doesn't clump, and it's not crunchy but it holds my curls wonderfully and allows for full body movement throughout the day without getting frizzy or out of control.

I have fine, thin hair and hairspray tends to saturate my hair when used. I have had very few hairsprays that didnt leave my hair sticky, crispy or oily looking. This is a very light hold hairspray. I do have to reapply it throughout the day because the hold doesn't last long, but that's okay. It's reasonably priced and I have a hard time finding it in stores , so when I do find it...I buy 2. The scent is not strong either.

I don't know why they messed with the formula. Whatever formula they used in the silver/purple bottle with the "3" on it was the only hairspray I could find that worked well with my very fine and thin hair. They can change the packaging all they want, I don't care, just wish they hadn't changed the formula along with it. The new one smells different and doesn't give any hold at all. I would use it and 10 minutes later before even leaving the house, it's lost any hold it might've had. I searched and searched in the past for hairspray that worked well for me, even trying expensive ones and found relief when I found the purple and silver 3 suave hairspray and now they've gone and messed it up. Also, this could just be my imagination or maybe it's because I had to use more each time and still not get any results, but this new formula ran out much quicker for me than the old one. I don't know what to use now.

Defective nozzle leaked all over cabinets and counter

Warning : The nozzle on this productive is defective. The first two times I used it, the spray did not stop after I stopped pressing the nozzle. I had to press it upwards to stop the spray. The second time, I thought it stopped but when I returned from work, I noticed a thick residue on my granite counters. It was also all over the inside of my cabinets. The nozzle apparently started spraying again until it emptied the container all over everything inside the cabinet and on the counter outside where the door was open.

I've used the purple can for years...was out of stock recently so I tried some name brands...sticky lacquer...nasty...so bought your pink can version that everyone is raving about (I liked the purple also) and...LOVE IT. Great product/great price, THANKS!
