Q: What is the part of the treadmill that exposes you to the toxic metals? I do not see this caution listed on the other Sunny treadmills. Thank you.

A: Thank you for your question. The Proposition 65 warning is included with all our products, including treadmills, to comply with California regulations. Proposition 65 is a “right-to-know” law, not a product safety law, covering over 800 chemicals identified by California's OEHHA. These chemicals may be present in materials like plastics and coatings. While we don’t test every product for all listed chemicals, they are made in facilities where other products may contain Prop 65 chemicals. I wanted a basic treadmill, which this is. Control panel displays calories burned, distance traveled, speed, # of steps, trip time. Cannot adjust incline. Printed assembly directions not clear. Found YouTube videos. Person putting it together made it look effortless, but not so. Need a helper. Some wires too short to snap together easily. Some threads not cut good for screws to align properly w/o damaging screws. Finally, IMO do not feel this treadmill is robust enough for running.
