Fountain leaks and won't stand behind product

The basin of the fountain leaks after a couple of years. Company is totally unwilling to stand behind their product in any way. I even offered to buy a new basin but they won't sell it. Now the entire thing will have to be thrown out. DO NOT BUY.

Does not appear to be real slate

So, we spent several weeks looking for the perfect fountain that sounded like a fountain and looked nice for our front patio. We settled on this one, even though it was quite pricey, because it says it is actual slate, not resin. The fountain arrived today and it was easy to put together and sounds great, which is why I am giving it 3 stars; however, we are extremely disappointed in the look of it. It looks like resin that has been painted grey, and it feels and like resin, not slate. There is epoxy all over the actual funneling pieces, which again also do not appear to be real slate. Very disappointed considering the price.

I was looking for a fountain that would fit in a large space by which I mean it would not look small and dinky in the space. Also, I wanted a fountain that did not have a large basin of water that could evaporate quickly and provide a nice soothing flowing water sound. This fountain met all the requirements and I have been pretty happy with it. Set up took two people working for 15 minutes and we were being very methodical about having the base level and sturdy. The instructions were pretty minimal and I feel like about 10 more rocks could be included to completely cover the base. I would recommend this fountain.
