This is just barely big enough for my son’s daily folders to fit into the inner pockets. It’s definitely very light and thin not much padding. But he loves the design and the pocket and lighted buckle on the front. I would say the value of this set would be more around the 15 bucks range personally though. I paid about 25$ and I would’ve returned it if my son didn’t like the Mario theme so much. The drawstring bag is super thin so I don’t think we’ll be using it in case it breaks. The pencil bag is also very thin and light so we just leave it at home for homework time with a few crayons and pencils, nothing heavy duty. I got this bag to replace his heavy backpack I got at the beginning of the year for Kindergarten, that he kept complaining was too big and heavy. He’s happy with how much lighter and smaller this one is. It barelyyyy fits his lunchbox for school and two folders though and that’s it lol. I would’ve loved if this had a front chest clip.
