I lost my father due to the negligence of our system and my mother lost half her nose because the doctor wouldn't listen to her, which is why I'm writing this book. I will teach you about how our health system works, offer some solutions to help change it, and show you how to be your own advocate. I'm going to tell you what really goes on, on the inside!

As both a polio survivor and a retired Occupational Therapist, I am well aware of the state of the American Medical System. I've watched it deteriorate, more than improve, over the past few decades. With our high level of technology and research, this is Unacceptable! It's high time our people are 'educated' on this reality. I have long been enraged seeing our medical system putting a 'bandaid' over a festering wound to cover it up, then pretending that's enough....without actually resolving/healing/seeking/treating the actual Core and Cause of the disease. We must be willing to look deeper/look closer, Multilevel - Mind, Body, Emotions, Soul - then Care enough to resolve and prevent the root cause of the diseases in our society! We do, indeed, live in a 'sickness' society rather than a 'wellness' society! Healthcare for Profit is Not working, nor Sustainable for our Medical System, and is definitely Not serving the people of America! I've recently seen both Nurses and CNA's in a state of Overwhelm, experiencing Burnout, unable to continue working, or even quitting their jobs and choosing a different career for their own survival, just when they are needed the most.
