Better than their old cameras

I bought the 16 channel DVR with 8 cameras after the last DVR died 3 years ago. The original DVR I bought back in oh gawd, 2014. On the Original system, within 6 months the camera's resoultion went from perfect to garbage. Everyday kept getting grainier and grainer. So I started replacing the cameras with "Bad" cameras at werk (they just needed to be powercycled). When the DVR started acting up, I looked into other systems, but decided on the DVR16-4680A with 8 cameras. I wansn't about to use these cameras, But I thought, why not, thell get replaced in 6 months cause they're garbage, and I'll get good cameras from work. Had a snafu about 2 months ago. Cameras started glitching out about 2 months ago. Month ago they died. Contacted Swann, they told me it's because I used yellow connectors instead of the blue connectors for the BNC connections to the cameras. After my niece had an accident today on my property, so I went to change out the camera with a known good one, one problem, the camera didn't work. It was a working camera when I disconnected it. Know what the problem was!? Bad power supply. Replaced the 2 amp powersupply with an 8 amp powersupply. and they all started working again.Come to find out all the cameras that died shared an 8 way distribuiton harness on a 2 amp power source that I got with the kit. But now that the power issue if fixed. Back to normal, No degregation to image quality 3 years later. But what is to voltage rating on these cameras?

two cameras mounted out of the weather and both have condensation. Of course I am out of warranty. 2 of 8 no good. It took me a while to install or this would have been covered under warranty but of course neither are now. One of the others is completely unprotected and still works fine. My previous swann cameras mounted in same locations lasted 8 years before i thought i should "upgrade"

Using the cameras outside of this recommended temperature can/will lead to permeate damage to your camera and/or condensation inside your lens. Swann offers a one-year warranty provided with a copy of your receipt or up to 36 months with valid registration. Outside of this timeframe, we are unable to process a replacement free of charge. Got two 2 pack cameras with built in light to give colour upto 10mtr and cannot get any to work even in complete darkness they are very good for picture and infa red. The build of the camera is very poor and nothing compare to dome camera so suggest these are better indoor and not suitable for outdoors

I replaced an existing camera with the new senor light model. It is under cover and out of direct street light but doesn't not work. Camera functions OK but sensor LEDs don't turn on.

It is now full of water that seems to be entering by the four screw holes at the back of the camera. So full of water in fact that it makes a sloshing noise. I will be complaining to Trading Standards.
