[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this security camera system a few weeks ago and I love the security I feel when I'm not home and my family is. It was a little tough to install and I had to buy some extra cat5 cable and an 8 port wall jack. If you are not electronically or installation inclined you will need someone to install it. Once it was installed it was fairly easy to run the system. The system is easy to run as long as you follow the instructions. The cameras cover so much of the yard and have such a clear vision even at night. I've found very few security cameras with such high definition.

Running and hiding the wires wasn’t a little tricky but after everything was completed the eight cameras was crystal clear. Nice HD picture quality in the palm of my hand with the downloaded app. Great replacement to switch from my old home security system. More views, more options with the Swann security system. Night vision and my favorite feature are the flashing red and blue lights to scare off and suspicious people that may roam around my property. Thank you Swann

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing system. It is easy to set up and get installed. The cameras are all very clear and record a great image. They have both heat and motion sensors so they pick up pretty much anything that gets in front of them. You can go back and look at footage for up to a year, and you can back it up to the cloud. It also has two way audio so you not only get a visual, you get sound. With 8 cameras, it provides us with a view from any direction.

Having everything backed up to local storage brings peace of mind, no worries about wifi outages or lag with connecting to the cloud. The set up was pretty straightforward and I really like how the cameras are low profile compared to my former ones. Image quality is very good, great to have at the street level.

With 8 cameras and 8 channels, it’s enough to secure the entire perimeter of our house. I can feel safe knowing this system is set up to alert us of any activity outside the house. The image quality is amazing and the night vision is clear. The app is easy to use. The only downside is the system is wired, so it took some manpower to set everything up.

I just replaced my older system with this product. There's a lot of settings and options but I haven't had any problems so far. I talked to support online on a issue and it was with a positive result. The picture on the local monitor screen is much more clear and easy to use then my cell phone but it's still not bad. I can't zoom in on license plates as easy as they advertise and some other HD features so that's why I can't give it a 5 star. There could be something else I need to do in order to elevate my graphics and review level. First thing I'm going to try is swapping my VGA monitor to a HDMI and see if that helps.
