I take Swanson's HCI in combination with a digestive enzyme that does not contain HCI with Pepsin. I like the smaller dosage per capsule. I also like that it has a vegetarian capsule (not gelatin) because I have an autoimmune response to gelatin. It compares favorably with any other brand of HCI with Pepsin and is a better value.
This is the only one that works! Best ever!!

I've been using this product for maybe 15 years. I've had ulcers and learned most people don't make enough acid in their stomach. It works, is inexpensive and so effective!

I like the smaller dosage very much in these capsules. I would give 5 stars if I knew it was not GMO. I’m not sure so makes me doubtful about using. Swanson doesn’t seem to have many non gmo vitamins which defeats the purpose..

I feel confident this helps solve my bloating. I am A Blood type so run low on stomach acid. However, I am feeling it may keep me awake if taken too late in the day. Still process of elimination!

I have low very low acid in my stomach which causes a slow digestive process in the stomach and intestines. Since I have been taking Betaine HCI Hydrochloric Acid I am able to enjoy my meals and especially beef which is hard to digest. I only found my problem out when I had a PH test to see if I had too much acid which turned out I have Alkali imbalance. Thank you Swanson! from Clarkesville, Ga.

I was diagnosed as not producing enough stomach acid. I was always feeling bloated with gas. Since I take this products my digestion is so much better, no more bloating and gas.

I bought this less than a month ago, and I am VERY HAPPY I DID! Ever since I quit smoking 304 days ago on September 17, 2017, I have experienced severe stomach bloating. This is a common side effect of quitting that many suffer with. I have been using this for a few weeks, and I have been symptom free ever since. Many other brands of HCL with pepsin seem to have a much greater potency, and thus often making them a better value for our dollars. I have been possibly noting that a method of taking them is really working, but I have to take several of them, thereby making me have to actually spend more than the higher priced, but more potent brands.
