Swanson Organic French Roast Ground Coffee - Dark Roast 16 oz Pkg

We really enjoy it. We use Peets Coffee a lot but we like this every bit as good.

I loved it, the organic is so much easier on my stomach!

This did not taste like coffee. It almost tasted like Postum that came out years ago. I will not order this again.

I mistakenly ordered ground instead of whole bean; however, worked fine as a pour over.

It was too weak, possibly because it was ground; or was sitting too long.

I recommend it(the coffee)plants love the grounds.

The coffee is pretty good. I probably will buy it again because it is a good price for French Roast coffee.

With coffee press it tastes very good, strong,, you don't miss it not being caffeinated. Good value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought this coffee for a couple of years and it has been consistently flavorful and a deep rich taste. I do wish it came in medium grind instead of the fine grind for my soft brew coffee maker, but for the great price on sale it is good purchase.

I don't usually write reviews, but this product deserves one. This is the best tasting organic coffee i have ever had. It is bold yet smooth. There is no bitterness. What a great find! I hope that Swanson keeps this one in inventory for a long time.

Swanson's French Roast is always FRESH, pure, and has a rich sweet undertone. It doesn't taste charred and acidic like Charbucks. We get tired of grinding beans all the time, so we've been buying Swanson's fine ground organic coffee. Their turn-around is so quick that the ground coffee doesn't have time to get rancid before we enjoy drinking it. Makes getting up in the morning a little easier looking forward to having a satisfying cup of Swanson ORGANIC coffee.

Every culture in the Middle East has its own favorite blend of Arabic Coffee. On my part, I just received my shipment of "Swanson's" Arabica Dark Roasted Coffee, the way it is liked by the people in Damascus, Syria. I flavored my pot with cardamom and some raw sugar (shakar Az--Turkish for medium sugar). My cup (a demi-tasse) had great aroma and a smooth, flavorful taste. I can't now wait for the morning, to get my day on the right foot, so to speak, by having my favorite cup of coffee. My only regret is that Swanson's" Arabic coffee is not as fine as it ideally should be. Luckily I have a spice grinder--Arabic coffee should be ground as fine as Talcum powder: grinds must not be too coarse. In my case, coarse grinds do not help me read my fortune in my overturned coffee cup. Otherwise, the flavor and aroma and darkness are just right to my particular preferences.

Delicious, deep flavor and excellent price for organic coffee. A little too fine ground for my soft brew coffee pot, but overall works and tastes great!

I usually prefer a good breakfast blend but this French Roast is a nice change of pace. It's strong though.

I bought this coffee because Swanson had an incredible deal on it and I needed coffee. I do believe it is a good coffee but this one is definitely not my favorite. The Dark Roast is too "smoked" for me.

I am very happy to have found this organic coffee. It is rich and dark with a smooth full body flavor. Friends compliment me on my coffee!
