Q&A(100)

Q: Is this product harmful to small children and small animals, because it contains an ingredient that is just one molecule away from anti-freeze?

submitted by Concernedgina - 6 years ago
  • A: not that I am aware of - we have 2 small dogs & have add numerous small children within our house hold and we have never had a problem with any “toxic molecules”

submitted byyogirlcrow - 5 years ago
  • A: Do you even realize what you are asking? You can die if you drink hydrogen peroxide. You will die if you do not drink water. They are one molecule apart. Science! :o

submitted byFrustrated purchaser - 5 years ago

Q: Can the cleaning solution bottle be refilled with any solution of choice? I have kids with allergies and medical conditions, so I make my own natural, low-ingredient cleaning solutions.

submitted by Posey123 - 4 years ago
  • A: We're glad you asked, Posey! We don't recommend refilling the solution bottle, since we haven't tested it to be effective for multiple uses. If you have any other questions, just give us a ring at: (800) 742-9220 - The Swiffer Team

  • A: Like this lady I cannot take the additional chemicals in the house due to a pulmonary condition. I usually just clean my floors with white vinegar in water, but the machine is too heavy for me to use

submitted bylalaland - 2 years ago

Q: what types of floors does this and its solution clean....hardwood, laminate wood veneer, tile, etc?

submitted by Eve - 7 years ago
  • A: Absolutely, Eve. The WetJet Wood is safe to use on finished hardwood and bamboo, ceramic, laminate, linoleum and vinyl floors. It's safe for sealed granite and marble floors. Contact the manufacturer of the floor for any questions or test on a hidden area of the floor before use. Use only on sealed, finished flooring. The WetJet Wood solution shouldn't be used on waxed or oiled wooden floors. Give us a call if you have any questions about the WetJet at (800) 742-9220,

Q: My swiffer Wet Jet is at least 10-15 years old. I tried to use it today and it won't work. New batteries put in right, primed it for 5 seconds, squeezed the bottle. Time for a new one?

submitted by CatLover - 2 months ago
  • A: While we're glad you've Swiffered with your WetJet for 10-15 years, we're sorry to hear that this is going on. We'd like to connect and see if we can get it back to operating as it should. Please call us at (800) 742-9220.
