Q&A(24)

Q: Does the head bend so that you can reach fan blades?

submitted by Al - 1 month ago
  • A: That's a great question. This product extends up to three feet with an extendable duster handle that pivots and locks into four different positions. The head itself does not bend. The Swiffer Dusters Heavy Duty Extender Handle Dimensions, ‎13.58 x 10.63 x 2.83 inches.

Q: What Swiffer refills are to be used on the 6 foot long cleaner?

submitted by UpstateNYN - 3 months ago
  • A: Thank you for asking about which refills you can use with the 6 Foot Super Extending Duster. You can use any Swiffer Dusters with it. Our Heavy Duty 360 degree Dusters are great for cleaning high and low, tight spaces and open ones. You can use either side of the Duster to clean. If you have areas that you need specific placement to get clean, our one-sided regular Dusters would be great.

Q: I’ve purchased Swiffer 6FT Dusting Kit, which is supposed to include 4 dusters. Mine had only two dusters (set on the 6FT bar)—I double checked the package, but there were no spare dusters enclosed. Why not??

submitted by Chibi - 7 months ago
  • A: We're sorry to hear that this was your experience, as we have strict quality checks in place to ensure that you receive everything that's listed on the packaging. We'd be happy to learn more and see how we can best make this right for you, so please give us a call at (800) 742-9220 when you have a chance.

Q: I have the heavy duty super extendable duster. How do I lock it in place?

submitted by LJ - 10 months ago
  • A: We're happy to answer any questions about our Swiffer Dusters, LJ. There are two pieces, a yellow handle and a lower white pole. Line up the notch on the white pole with the hole in the yellow handle. Push the pieces together firmly until they click into place (you'll hear the click). If you pull the handle and it extends, you've assembled it correctly. Shake the duster cloth vigorously to fluff the fibers. Pulling at the fibers may help. Find the two sleeves on the back of the duster cloth and insert the prongs on the handle into the sleeves and pull the duster cloth on until it is secured into place. The sleeves are open on both ends so either end will fit on the handle. We hope this was helpful, but please give us a call at (800) 214-8734 if you have any other questions.

Q: On average, how big of an area does one duster clean?

submitted by Janlea50 - 3 years ago
  • A: This can vary, since it does depend on the amount of dust and allergens that are present on the surfaces that you're cleaning. When cloth is full and will not pick up any more dirt, throw it away and change to a clean duster.
