This is the second time that I got a stapler in less than a year. The one that I got last December last less than a month. Worst quality ever.

This is my 3rd stapler in a year. Very busy office normal light use, 2 minimum pages more often than max of 45. Will not read paper when inserted.

We purchased this stapler for our library twice. The first time it broke after a few years of use. The second time we purchased the 2nd in May 2022 and it broke after 1.5 years of use. Not very good quality. The noise the stapler makes is loud and disruptive. I am going to order regular staplers because dishing out almost a hundred dollars again for this stapler isn't a wise investment. I don't recommend this product.

it'll be working fine and then just randomly stop working. There is no way to open it and check if there is something jammed. Clearly was purposefully designed that when there is an issue, you just have to toss it because you can't troubleshoot it at all.

Would not recommend as this stapler jams easily and stops working. When it jams it is impossible to open the stapler and remove the jam. Buy a different stapler.

Anytime we used it, it would jam. The last time I tried to use it, it jammed and we couldn't get it released. It's a big ugly paperweight now. It's supposed to have a warranty, but is it worth it?

By its nature as an electric stapler, it's going to be convenient. Until it jams, at which point you are going to need a team of engineers, luck so good you should be playing the lottery and not working, and at the very least needle nose pliers to grab and pull at the jams, because this thing jams HARD. That's not to mention how excessively loud it is. My heart skipped a beat the first time I tried using this thing. Using it more than a few times actually, legitimately gave me a headache that lasted four about 4 hours even after taking painkillers. If you have ear plugs or severely damaged hearing, and the fortitude to deal with the ridiculous jams, then maybe this will work for you. For everybody else, find a different stapler.

I love the automatic stapler because it is so easy to use and saves hand pain from having to staple manually. I recommend this. I can't figure out how to register it.

I always only used the correct staples on this. Four months after purchasing, it jams every time - in manual and auto mode. A complete waste of money. Wish I still had my old manual stapler.

it worked for a few months, and now any time you get anywhere near it, it shoots out like 10-15 staples at a time. Super strange, I've only used the Swingline optima staples. Not worth it at all.

I bought this. The staple holder/loader stopped being able to go back into its slot... rendering the entire machine useless. I tried contacting customer service multiple times during business hours, but no one seems to work there any more. They have a "new feature" that instead of being on hold, you can request a call back — it's great because when you get a call back, an automated voice says "this is your call back" & then they hang up the phone! Also, on another note: register the warranty of your STAPLER?! You have to be another level of anal-retentive to be saving a receipt for a flippin stapler. How about you stand behind the quality of your products swingline?! Have too many people been scamming you over $1 staple removers? Gimme a break!

Can it staple? Yes. But it is a fidgety stapler. Confidence is higher with a manual stapler; however, an electric stapler by design does speed up a process and makes office work more efficient. The retractable "nose" is flimsy. Reloading is simple, but confidence in product (the "nose"in particular) is low. Have had for several years now and staples continue to jam at the tip. Would have greater confidence in product if this device actually popped open (for staple replenishment purposes) similar to the old-fashioned manual staplers. It would allow for a stable and solid stapling experience.

I have owned this stapler for three years. Each day I put it through a heavy workload of staplings, and the pages are successfully stapled without complication. I feed it only the Optima brand staples, and I'm very pleased with its performance. I recommend the purchase of this durable powerhouse stapler.

I have been using this stapler for the last 2 1/2 years and have not had any problems. I work in a very busy maintenance department and at times, I have to keep thick work orders together; therefore, I make exellent use of this stapler! I especially appreciate that it notifies me when my staples are getting low and that I can change it from Auto to Manual use.
