A: No, Systane Complete is NOT Preservative Free. My favorite Preservative Free dry-eye drop is Systane Hydration, which is conveniently packaged in individual vials so they don't need preservatives to prevent the drops from becoming contaminated. Thanks for your interest in Systane!

Decided to try a different eye drop out of curiosity and chose this one because of the reviews. Unfortunately, it's not working out as well as I'd hoped. It works only very temporarily for me so far after trying it out for a few days. My biggest issue with it is using it at night, because I wake up with red eyes feeling like it's doing the opposite effect. During the day, however, it seems to be ok. I typically use the BioTrue Hydration Boost eye drops, and those work great for me. Was curious if there was anything better out there, but these drops just aren't doing it for me.

I have hereditary dry eyes & seious eye allergies to boot. Right now my eyes are are super itchy. The directions say one drop last 8 hours. Maybe for normal eyeballs but not mine. My eyes are so itchy one srops burns - then another drop is needed to do the job the first drop can’t because of how extremely dry my eyes are. That 2nd drops gives me a few hours of relief. It’s never enough. I alternate between this & Pataday - for me there wonder ever be a 1 & done drop. But I’m glad I have both available OTC now. Before it was a nightmare with insurance refusing to pay.

These are great at relieving dry itchy eyes if you have plenty of tears but the ‘oil’ is too thick. However, they clog up and you can’t get any drops out when there is still a ton left in the bottle. Not sure if it’s because I don’t use multiple times a day or what.

I have used Systaine Ultra for years. This formula was on sale so I thought I’d give it a try. I had a terrible reaction to this one- so bad that I considered going to quick care. Extreme burning, tearing, and light sensitivity. I’m not sure which ingredient caused the reaction but I’m going back to the Ultra.

As a frequent contact wearer, my eyes can get so dry that my eyes get red and irritated just by wearing them. This however, is a holy grail product that all the eye drops I have used cannot compare to. These give me instant relief and while the redness won’t be taken away right away you’ll feel the comfort. So if you wear contacts or your eyes are dry in general get this
