[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you've ever tried the George Foreman grill, this is it but x10. This grill cooks all types of meat to PERFECTION!! Extremely easy to clean and use. I was able to cook 3 grilled chicken breasts at once and a perfectly cooked steal right after. Definitely recommend this. Completely amazed by it. 👏

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This indoor grill is amazing. It’s large enough to be able to cook a lot more meat. At first we cooked some steak on it. Due to its steak’s thickness, the smart feature was incorrect. When it signaled the steak is done at the week done setting, the meat wasn’t completely done. That’s probably user error. The next day, we cooked thinner meat, it works as intended. It cuts the cooking time in half because it’s being cooked from both sides. Cleaning it is easy as you can remove both plates from the machine. This will be a good investment.

You can cook to what temperature you desire and how you want your steak. It’s easy to clean. Heats up very fast and it cooks very fast overall it’s a great grill. It’s very accurate with the settings it has.

The cooking plates are removable making it very easy to clean. I love the versatility of it- you can cook virtually anything on it, without the hassle of firing up the outdoor grill. It makes it perfect for the winter, too. It even has sensors telling you when your food is well done, medium, or rare.

Grill's sensor cooking only worked for a few months. Then it would almost never signal it had preheated but shut off instead. Even in manual mode it is proving unreliable, after flashing and refusing to work even after reset.

This is my second one. It cooks steaks to perfection. I grill chicken, and frozen hamburger patties as well as homemade. Great grilled cheese sandwiches. Lots of recipes come with it. The grilling plates are dishwasher safe which makes clean-up a breeze. You will not be disappointed with this grill.

The grill basically shuts off when you put the food on the plates. Preheats, ready beep sounds and then when you put the food on and close cover the OK light starts flashing...usually after it beeps saying food is already at well done stage already!! Tried the factory reset I was sent and still does it. Guess I’ll be buying a ninja grill.

I upgraded to the xl after the plate coating wore out on my first optical smaller version I think the coating on this grill is better than the first one I had. I only hand wash them and not use the dishwasher and have not had any problems. I like the size and the temps are usualy close. Sometimes I have to pull items earlier than the light indicator says for my desired temp but that is not a big problem. I only wish it had a second set of flat plates that I could buy as an added option So I could use it more like a panini grill. That would be great

Nothing makes bacon better!!! No splatter! No big mess with bacon fatter splattered every where! Works amazingly well as a Panini press too!!

I had a tfal opti-grill in Oct 2017. worked wonderfully until it didn't anymore. I had to replace it. Problem was, the were no where to be found. Had to buy a competitor grill. Hated it from day one, took 10min to preheat, wast sloped so nothing ran off, and it was on or off. When I found the opti-grill again, I ditched it immediately, The new one is everything I remember. Tfal, I hope you never decide to discontinue this grill. It is the best appliance I've ever owned Reliable results every time.

My previous optigrill began behaving badly and one day just stopped dead. It had to be replaced immediately as this is used every week. A few days later this nice replacement arrived. It’s almost identical to its predecessor except that the pointless blue tooth connection has been replaced with a meat thickness checker. Anyway I love my new very versatile opti-grill. So far only sausages and steaks but I’m looking forward to cooking fish soon.

It has a habit of turning itself off. Plug unit in. Press power button. Select option. Press OK. Wait for grill to preheat. When it is ready, open grill and place food on grill. Close grill. Sometimes the OK button will flash. Sometimes it does not. If it flashes I press it. Shortly after the grill turns off. What you have is a raw steak with grill marks.

I bought two grills one for home and one for the cabin. We mostly make grill cheese sandwiches. They are the best. Burgers steaks anything you want. But sadly it stopped working properly after a couple months. I can only use one setting, and have to unplug it many times because it’s flashing white and there is nothing I can do, other than unplug it.

Works great, especially in our small household. I have had it about 7 years and works great for burgers, chicken, etc. The only annoyance is cleaning it, but if you use a brush (don't put it in the dishwasher) it will clean up fine.
