DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. -5 stars for being worse than Elmer's white paper glue. -5 stars for all the false claims based on the roll I have now. I will not buy another product made but this company again. I do not recommend the Brute Force tape to anyone. I bought this tape in hopes that I lives up the hype. I won't stick to itself once removed from the roll. Let alone anything else. This is not an ENGINEERING SOLUTION rather a bigger waste of money. Elmer's Glue, the plain paper glue works better than this does. The claims of aggressive adhesive and that it can do more than any other brand of duct tape on the market are just fluff claims. While yes this will not rip or tear across the width. It rips along the length with zero issue. Not even a rip stop design, once started it keeps going. 700 lbs... Yeah OK. It can't stick to itself so how could it hold that much weight. I won't even remain stuck to what I want it on. So how can it hold that amount? Must be using the good stuff to advertise with and market this garbage to people. Buyer be ware. IMHO this is just snake oil dress as duct tape.

I bought this to repair a vinyl swimspa cover - to help me get another year or two out of it. I cleaned the surface thoroughly and found it concerning how easy it was to pull it off the roll and even pull it back up and put it back down as I attempted to put it down in straight lines. A few hours later as I folded the two halves of the cover at the engineered fold point the T-Rex tape lifted right off ... a very large section of it. It was a hot dry day and this stuff falls off ... forget any other season ...

Bought this tape because it boasted it was it was hard to tear and waterproof, to fix a hole in my camping tent this past weekend. I had a buddy apply a strip of the tape to the outside of the hole while I was on the inside to apply another strip and sandwich the tent between the two. It immediately started peeling off of my tent, I was beyond baffled when the 2 strips pulled right apart from each other. Cut off another piece in frustration and slapped it on my arm, not a single hair was pulled from my arm. I shouldn't have ventured from Harambe tape

It comes off the roll very nicely, and doesn't stick back onto itself, like some other similar products. It cuts easily (across) and also tears very nicely along the tape if you need a narrower piece. It adheres nicely to the surfaces I've tried it on (all plastics) and has stayed in place for over a month (through cold weather and rain).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thick and durable, this tape is great for tough jobs anywhere around the house. You can use it inside or outside the house for just about anything. We used it to fix broken parts of a dog crate and several other things. It's a lot thicker than similar products. This helps make it stronger, but also means it's not as pliable as regular duct tape or other similar products.

I'm impressed on the quality and durability of this tape. I'm looking forward to using it many different types of surfaces in and around my home.

I heard about T-REX tape from a commercial on the tv one day. Recently my husband had a home project that required tape, I recommended he give T-REX a shot. He loves it! It's strong, durable, and reasonably priced for what you get out of it!

It is nice and sticky, strong (I can’t break it without tearing), and still tears easy so you can get the right length. Buy this and go McGyver something.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great, and definitely holds. I've done some quick DIY with this tape, lasts for a long time and is extremely strong. Can withhold good temperatures. Easy to use, easy to cut with scissors. I'm satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape claims to be incredibly strong longitudinally--along the length of the tape strip that you use. And this is immediately evident in the strong cords built in that run the length of the tape. This is why you can't tear it off with your fingers like regular duct tape--make sure you have scissors or a knife handy. The down side is that this also reduces its utility a bit--it's not going to be your everyday duct tape replacement. However, for repairing something that will have a lot of pulling force on it, it's the strongest tape I've seen. (Think: strong enough to make a handle to swing on, if you wrap it enough times for it to stick to itself sufficiently) . Not that I endorse this use case...legal disclaimer, blah blah. Which brings me to one additional point: the adhesive is not as grippy as some other duct tapes, requiring more surface overlap to ensure good adhesion. All in all, this is a unique product that indeed is stronger than other tapes I've used, and will serve as a special application tape in that role.

The reinforced threading helped to allow it to hold heavier objects while working on car projects. While the threading helps to make it stronger, it does require scissors or some other sharp object to cut vs. being able to rip with your teeth like traditional Duct Tape.

The adhesive was was really strong when using it has traditional duct style tape.Just to test the durability, I doubled a 3 foot section of tape on it's self and picked my 7 year old with it. It held up great! I'm very pleased with this tape.

We even drove the vehicle from Austin to Dallas and back with absolutely no problems. It’s held up in heat, cold and rain!
