I really wanted a bookshelf that’s not your typical straight across looking shelf. I love how these feel mixed open and closed shelves almost get the look of floating wall shelves from it.

This is a fun shelf. It looks great in my home office and was relatively painless to assemble - despite the 52 bolts required. I didn’t secure it to the wall yet because I want to be able to move it around and the baseboards make it hard to.

I love the design when I first saw it. Its unique sophisticated style and different. Assembly is fairly simple with clear instructions. The shelf itself is pretty sturdy and solid. It holds many books of various sizes well.
