Tangkula Twin Size Daybed w/ 3 Drawers Wooden Sofa Bed Frame w/ Storage Shelves

This is hands down the worst furniture building experience I have ever had and I've put together a lot of furniture from various manufacturers. About 1/4th of the pieces weren't even labeled. None of the pieces were labeled top/bottom or left/right so you have no clue of the orientation. Twice we put a piece upside down because the pictures in the instructions were so bad and then we spent several hours going back several steps when we realized the pieces were on upside down, the differences were so slight, like 1/4 inch, so we didn't notice until several steps later. Piece 1 didn't match the illustrations at all, it looked like a completely different piece, which was super confusing. As a result we installed it upside down because we had to guess, which added significant amount of time. Overall between my husband and I we have spent 12.5 hours and we still have to finish the drawers and the slats. The sliding door on the top shelves didn't slid smoothly and kept falling out, so we probably won't even use it. When we first opened the box and inventoried the peices we realized we were missing a piece and it took 2 phone calls, 5 emails and almost two weeks to get a replacement piece. They were supposed to send just the one piece and instead sent box 1 of 2 again which weighed 65 lbs. I had to contact Target again to get them to schedule a pickup to return the rest of the box to the company because I wasn't about to figure out what to do with half of a second bed in a box I can't even lift. Several peices were cracked and one piece wasn't painted evenly. Several were quite dirty, like they had sticky residue. Luckily, since I had an extra box of parts I was able to switch them out. We kept plowing through because we had had so much time invested but I wouldn't recommend this bed to my worst enemy.
