Sucks for thick curly hair. I have 2C-3A thick curly hair and it does not de-tangle anything! The brush feels very cheaply made and the handle is WAY TOO SHORT to get a good grasp or angle on brushing your hair. It also gets really slippery as you brush your hair, which is a big problem for people with curly hair as our hair needs to wet in order to brush it. Honestly, stick to the wet brush or the wide comb brush if you have thick curly hair.

I've tried a lot of detangling brushes and combs for my thin hair and this one is, by far, the best! It is so gentle and, at the same time, gets all the knots and tangles out. It doesn't pull on my hair and moves through it like butter. I've also noticed that there's a lot less hair coming out in this brush, versus all the other brushes/combs I've tried. There is also a noticable different in the softness of my hair the rest of the day. If you have thin hair that gets a lot of knots, I would STRONGLY recommend stopping your search and getting this brush now!

My hair is fine and also curly. So the combination makes it almost impossible to brush without damage. This brush worked!!! It deranged my day-2 hair, which was dry and had hairspray and other products in it. I’m in awe! There’s no hair in the brush and my hair is soft!

I have moderately thick hair and this is so hard to get all the way through it. I have to separate my hair in chunks just to brush it because it can’t grab it all at once. Hard to get tangles out too.

LIFE CHANGING HAIR BRUSH This brush is insane. I have been using wet brush since it came out and it just wasn’t working the way it used to. I went out on a limb and bought this tangle teeter & WOW does this thing work. I have blonde, fine tanglly, color treated hair and this brush has done wonders.

If you have straight hair it is good. I have natural wavy hair but I blow dry it straight , if u just need to touch up ur hair it's good but if u have huge tangle it doesn't do a lot, tho it does help untangle them a bit without hurting

I thought this was a lot softer, like a bigger version of a scalp brush almost. The bristles are thin which makes them harder than the like frida baby scalp brush for a newborn.

I really love this version of the Tangle Teezer because it’s meant for fine & fragile hair. I have very fine, type 4a hair and I love how gentle this is when brushing through my hair. It doesn’t snag or pull. After lightly finger detangling I follow up with this brush. I highly recommend this brush for super fine hair- even if you have type 4 hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think after using this brush, I refuse to go back to traditional brushes that has a cushion under the bristles, why, because the traditional brushes gets dirty, dusty and hard to believe that it’s hygienic. With tangle teezer brushes, you can easily remove lose hairs and wash it and let it dry and know that it’s ready to be used for next time. Also, super gentle on my scalp and detangles without pulling hair. Definitely would recommend it.

I was heartbroken when I found that I was sent the one for fine hair, as my hair is anything but fine. My hair is actually insanely thick. That said, I gave it to my best friend whose hair is on the thinner side and she absolutely loved it. It detailed super easily. I’m going to try to find one that is more suitable for my hair type and I’m sure I’ll have similar results!
