Targus 15.6" Urban Convertible Backpack Black

Useless bag. If you use it like a backpack the shoulder straps are uncomfortable. The strap buckles are useless as they loosen the straps constantly whilst your walking so you continuously have to readjust. Its very poorly made.

It is a wonderful product and very useful in protecting my laptop. It is pretty compact but has just the perfect amount of room needed for a few extra things. Easy to access front pouch with great zipper. The padding also makes it comfortable on my back. The straps are adjustable and the clasps and handles are sturdy. I would recommend the Targus brand for laptop bags

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a new laptop back since I got the new Dell XPS17 which is a little bit larger than my old MacBook Pro and as such did not fit in my old bag. This new bag easily fits the larger XPS17 and has plenty of padding for me to feel that it is going to be safe on trips. While there are a lot of carrying options I have just been using it as a traditional backpack for now. The only thing I wish the backpack had was a velcro strap to secure the laptop into the padded sleeve. When in backpack mode there is not a problem but if you are using the shoulder strap it might move around a little bit more. Build quality it great and it is also nice and lightweight which is key when carrying around an already heavy laptop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Targus 15.6” Urban Convertible Backpack is the backpack I never knew I needed in my life. The handles on the top and side make it super easy to grab this backpack and go. There is a zippered pocket on the front that is good for storing papers or other small objects. The bigger zippered part opens on two sides and inside there is a divider and a small, zippered pocket. This bag is perfect for me when I need to take my laptop on the go. There are so many ways to carry the bag with the convertible straps. I do wish there were some more padding, but I am so careful with my belongings that it does not matter too much for me. Overall, this a great bag that fits all of my needs.

It is a little bulky as a backpack but nothing uncomfortable. Switching to different carrying styles is pretty simple too. Plenty of pockets to store things. Material also feels sturdy. I used this for a 16 inch macbook pro and it fits nicely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been waiting for this kind of product for quite some time. I enjoy that there are four ways for a user to wear or carry it the bag . The back straps seems dirty. The outer design is generally appealing with good material for construction. The big problem is that it's a horrible briefcase, yes it works fine as a shoulder bag or a backpack. But the handles for the briefcase are too small, there's not enough room for an adult hand to go in, and the material of the bag rubs against a person's knuckles where it's slightly hurts to carry. That should probably be a second material on top of the handles. It seems whoever designed the briefcase, either had really small hands or never carried a briefcase before. Why did they keep out on the briefcase part and diminish a very promising product? I do not recommend this as a briefcase. I do suggest it as a backpack or a messenger bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this bag. My dad picked it out, and I'm not usually a fan of techy looking things like this, but I do love this bag. It's slim and looks chic on me (I'm a petite woman). My laptop is completely protected, but the padding takes up less room than in most laptop bags. The front compartment is large enough to fit m laptop charger and has nice pockets for organization inside. So far I've been using it as a backpack but I think it would be just as great the other way.

The leather detailing on the top is one of my favorite. It gives the backpack a more regal look. The inside secures my devices well. I am very satisfied with this backpack and its quality.

I like tbe convertible nature of it. So I can wear it as a sling, backpack or briefcase. I do wish tbe padding were more substantial and that the front flap opened slightly more. But there is plenty of space to carry a 15” laptop, charger, mouse, as well as a small stack of documents. I ended up added a foam insert from an old dell laptop bag that fit in there perfectly. So now I have the padding I prefer.
