I took a break from using the tarte foundation for a couple of years and wanted to give it a try again. Unfortunately the color that I used to get doesn’t match my skin tone the way it used to and the texture that the foundation leaves on my skin isn’t ideal either.

I got the wrong shade just off by like one or two still using it. Just enhancing it with a bronzer, but the look in the feel in the last is good. Just need to tweak my own color.

I have the Face Tape foundation at the same color and this is way lighter for the amazonian clay. Annoyed. I like the texture and wear, the color is just really inconsistent.

It is a good product because it does exactly what it says it will do: it gives you full coverage from the time you put it on in the morning until you take it off when you go to bed . And it looks like your own skin--but enhanced, and very natural looking. I love it!!!

I have older skin as I'm just turning 60 this year and my Foundation I had been using seems to look dry on my face and show the wrinkles even more then before so it's nice to have this Foundation which seems to hide everything that I want to hide but not look heavy and it's my exact skin match which is great!

I have very very oily skin which is why I tend to shy away from products that are supposed to looky dewy bc i look dewy without even trying. And ive looked matte ALL DAY even at work while i was sweating like crazy. This is def for people with very oily bc i have used this all day and my makeup didnt even crease at all. I dont even need to use a lot of powder to set it either bc It dries up and looks like a matte finish but you dont look like you covered your face with chalk. I love this foundation sm! Thank u tarte🩷I feel so pretty with it on.

I was so excited to try this foundation, and I was sadly disappointed. The color match to my current foundation was way lighter than it should be, also, it doesn’t stay on for longer than 10 minutes! I used primer, setting spray, and still, it was as if I had put nothing on. Super disappointing.

I received this foundation accidentally; ulta shipped me someone else's package and told me to keep it. The color coincidentally matched my complexion, so I gave it a try. As a foundation this product doesn't work for me. Its WAY too heavy for my 40 yo textured skin, and seems to highlight every enlarged pore and imperfection. BUT I recently tried using it on my legs to help cover varicose veins, and it worked really well! Better than actual body makeup brands I've tried. So as a foundation I'd give this 1/5 stars. As body makeup 4/5.

I do not usually use full coverage foundation because I fear a chalky look. But, this Tarte Amazonian Clay goes on smooth and leaves a soft look. Nothing heavy or chalky about this and it feels great as well. Try it!
