I love this lines of lip products and have purcahsed many, this is the first time i purchased with this applicator, and its slowly coming off. I still have half a tube left and how am i suppose to apply, it wont be convenient. Just change the applicator and stick to what works.

I have purchased this product in several different colors. They are beautiful, and the shimmering colors have just the right amount of shimmer without being overbearing. My favorites are Shimmering Calla Lilly and Hibiscus. That being said, the applicator is awful. This is the second one that has broken off. The first time it happened, I thought I was pushing too hard, so ever since, I've tried not to push on it. When the second one broke off, I decided to write this review, and I see others are having the same issue. As much as I love these, I think I will go back to the regular lip plump instead of the lip oil, which is a bummer.

I love the hibiscus color. But after using only twice, the applicator broke at the sponge tip. I was able to return and get another one. I was a lot more gentle when applying, and this time it lasted, for a month. It's not worth the hassle or the hype. I was disappointed in the lack of quality control with Tarte. I will not be buying a third one.

I just feel like there are better lip plumpers out there that give a better long lasting result. And I don't even mean in the fact that the lips are staying plumbed I mean in the fact that the product stays on longer. Obviously, I know it's job, however, I just feel like I would apply it, and I would need to reply it within like 30 minutes because my lips was starting to feel dry. And I'm not wanting to normally have dry lips.

I really likes the product itself but after a month or so the sponge applicator began to smell sour. I couldn't bring it to my lips without getting a whiff and could not stomach it. It reminded me of a sour dish rag. I would not buy again unless the applicator is changed.

Love the tip and it's the perfect amount of color and shine.

Love the actual gloss - not too spicy on the lips or too sticky, gives great shine and the sparkle is so fun. Has been my go-to as of late. BUT the spongey applicator tears abd breaks off after awhile. Especially disappointing given the price point.

The formula is amazing, it plumps and moisturizes well. The sponge applicator is awful, it broke off after a handful of uses and had to use a Qtip to apply.

This is my second purchase and both times the spongy tip broke off. I like the idea of the sponge, but they need to go back to the drawing board or stop making it. I have it a 2 for effort.

I was looking for a lip plumper. I chose this out of many. It really was what I was looking for. It plumpled my lips. I love it.

I didn't like the coral color on my lip's and I felt it was a bit drying so I returned it.

I love these so much! I love the scent, the tingly feeling while not being overly tingly it burns, the color selection. both shimmer and non-shimmer are great. I have a few shades and I love them all. However, I don't love the applicator. it has me so worried it's going to fall off one of these days and I've seen other reviews saying it does. they need to make these with better applicators because the product itself is so awesome!

I love the product hate they couldnt use just a basic application like others cuz now i cannot use lip gloss since ball tore off

This is a very nice plumping gloss, the plumping effect isn't overwhelming like some but the applicator is not great. Mine broke and it seems like it absorbs a nice amount of product.

I really like this product. I bought the clear "color" and use it like one would use a lip balm or hydrating treatment. I think the product that you get is wonderful, works great and I would probably buy this on repeat because I like it a lot (even though it's a little pricey). The thing I don't like about this is the applicator. The sponge tip is really not that great. Why didn't they go for the regular wand style packaging? (My hunch was that they were trying to keep with the ever popular format of their "juicy lip" products). I think the packaging is a big miss - I have to "smash" or "dab" the product on my lips with the sponge tip. If you swipe from side to side (like one normally does when applying a lip product) I fear this sponge will eventually rip off because it's kind of flimsily attached. It really isn't the most thought out idea. But, the product inside is really nice... Wish they would repackage but keep the product the same. Then it would be an A+ winner! As a note, the "plumping" is not a burning sensation (i.e. too faced lip injection) it's more of a menthol/mint cooling sensation, which is my personal preference.

I received a sample of this product as a gift with a purchase and I loved it! Beautiful color and lasting moisture. The applicator on the sample was similar to a brush. I ordered a full size product based on the sample. The full sized product has a sponge tip applicator which is fine but I find the application not as consistent as the sample product. The color also seems less vibrant compared to the sample. Although I wish that the full size product was more similar to the sample, I do love the look and feel of this product.

I love the color, smell, and tingle it gives you. I wouldn't say it plumps your lips but it looks really good. But the applicator hair is too long and it's scratchy. It's kind of a sensory nightmare.
