Tea Forte Mariposa Tea Set - 12ct

This was my first experience trying herbal teas and I really enjoyed them. My husband and I both tried one a night and talked about our favorites. I like the variety and out of all the teas i've tried, the cucumber mint is my absolute favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Mariposa Tea Forte petite presentation box is a gorgeous gift to yourself and others. The first thing you notice is the beautiful pastel & muted color palette with what looks like a water colored painting of lavender, wisteria & liseran purple butterflies and fuchsia, mulberry & mauve bearded irises along with golden petals on the back drop of light pink. If you love the colors in the purple, pink & yellow family or know someone who does they would love this beautiful box curated by the New York Botanical Gardens. As soon as you open the box your senses are bombarded by bright sweet fruity aromas. The new tea in this set is Pink Papaya Nectar and it’s an herbal tea that steeps into a mauve color to match the outside box. The Fragrance which is fruity & floral is so lovely; I actually wish it came in a candle. The tea itself is crisp & tart and it taste sweet without any honey or sugar; so taste before you add any sweeteners. I hope Tea Forte plans to release this as a loose tea canister. The set also comes with some of my favorite herbal teas: lemon lavender & raspberry nectar. Going with the Spring theme are other light teas like the green cucumber mint & white ginger pear tea. I drink tea everyday whether it’s cold outside or not but I enjoy switching up the flavors for each season and this selection fits perfectly for Spring & doesn’t disappoint. I would buy this set as gifts and for myself. I’d especially like it if they made a single steeps loose leaf version and also if they made Pink Papaya Nectar a loose leaf tea canister. Hopefully Tea Forte will expand their Mariposa line to accommodate my suggestion. But try it for yourself and see. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the lovely and delicate artwork on the packaging to the delightful mix of floral and fruity tea blends, this year’s Tea Forte and NYBG collaboration, Mariposa (Spanish for butterfly), arrives on gossamer wings, bringing with it the freshness of spring in the five different blends contained in this year’s presentation box. The blends are comprised of 3 herbal tisanes, 1 white tea, and 1 green tea - all perfect for a light and bright cup of tea. In the line up is a new blend - pink papaya nectar (herbal), which I found to be papaya forward and therefore likely to be appreciated by those who really like the flavor of papaya. Of the selection, my favorite was the cucumber mint (green tea), which delivered a surprisingly pleasing mix of cucumber and mint, however, I couldn’t detect the blueberry flavor that was mentioned in the tasting notes. With the beautiful packaging and delightful tea selection within, this collection is a great gift choice for your favorite tea drinker, or to enjoy yourself.
