[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old really enjoys playing with it but putting together took forever. Some of the pieces were not fitting right and needed to be adjusted to fit. It took over an hour to finally get it together. Once built it is cute and my son loves playing with it. I would suggest not having your kids play too rough with it because it is not all that sturdy.

It didn't take very long for my husband to put it together.I love that all the cabinets open and there is lots of storage space for kitchen toys. It even comes with 2 ice cubes and when you put the cup in its spot the ice cubes with fall in it. My only complaints are they could have come up with something better to hang the play cordless phone on and it should come with something to give you the option to attach it to the wall if you would want to for a safety feature. I can't wait for my Grand babies to come over and play with this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited about giving my son the Teamson Kids - Little Chef Westchester Retro Play Kitchen. However, some assembly required is not nearly accurate. I spent three hours putting this together and not all the screw holes were drilled throughly. The clock that was on the backsplash had let go and I had to glue it back on. If you like putting things together then this is for you. I can say all the pieces were there and once put together it was quite sturdy. My son enjoys playing with this and hasn't managed to destroy it. The paint doesn't come off easy.

Instruction manual was very easy to read and it took me a little over an hour to assemble, would take less time with help. I did use both a empact drill and a hand screwdriver during assembly. Some parts were easier to do by hand it tight spaces. My kids absolutely love it. Their favorite part is the chalkboard on the fridge and that the ice maker actually dispenses the ice cubes. Of course they love the fun of pretend cooking as well. This is made with heavy duty wood, very sturdy, and made to last years. I love the retro style look, it looks so fancy sitting in my kids room.

Great amount of storage (dishwasher, oven, fridge, freezer and microwave), not hard to put together. The chalkboard is a cute touch that makes it more fun and may even help littles get more exited to learn to write

It took awhile to put together but the instructions were easy to follow. The whold set is extremely sturdy and well made. I dont have to worry about my kids being a little rough with it like the plastic ones!! So lifelike and realistic and i am extremely satisfied with it!!!

Honestly I wish I could get multiple of them because of how cute it truly is. Not only that but it was really easy to put together and loads of fun for the kids! It is heavy so make sure they aren't around while you are putting it together - you don't want them to try and pick up a piece and get hurt! The style is really just perfect! I can't say enough about how cute this is!

I love that it was offered in numerous color options. We went with white so it was neutral for both my kids. One of our favorite parts is the coffee making spot in the door. We love this kitchen so far! My husband and I speed-assembled it during nap time, which took about an hour. Our only major complaint is that 4 pages of the assembly instructions were missing, and we couldn’t find a pdf after a (quick) online search. We were able to figure out the missing steps with a little guesswork.

Definitely would make a great Christmas or birthday gift. I loved my play kitchen growing up so I'm hoping it's loved as much in our family! The only downsides are it takes a few hours to assemble, it doesn't come with any food or cooking toys so you have to buy those separately, it's pretty big so you'd want to have a larger room or play room because this will take up a lot of space & it's pretty tall so you should anchor it to the wall to make sure it never falls over since it's really heavy.

I have seen a few others that are larger and this one is the perfect size, although everyone's home is different. This kitchen is made of high quality wood and it sturdy when put together "correctly". Concentrate on the hinges when putting together. It does take some time to put it together, but for toddlers 4-5 it is a project they enjoy to watch their play kitchen go together; so it really wasn't a task at all.
