At first I thought it was just a regular figure but the action mechanics and audio is cool and my son loved it

I love TMNT, and so does my kid. But whoever approved this toy, either foolishly or deliberately allowed a massive oversight: these things make the most obnoxious sound that DOES NOT STOP, and you CANNOT turn it off. It’s a perpetual shouting noise, and if you have all four turtles at once, you will do anything you can to instantly stop the noise when it happens. If the toy gets stuck in a toy basket or left on the floor somewhere - any one of the figures limbs can be bumped or positioned into a noise making state. Once the figure starts talking - it’s not just a quick phrase then it’s over like most normal toys. No - the shouting noise EXTENDS INDEFINITELY until you pick it up or make it stop. It’s insanity.

Single handedly the MOST annoying toy I’ve encountered for the last 20 years and 4 boys. As he stretches out the syllables to whatever he’s yelling (can’t decipher all 8 phrases, I caught “Turtle Power!” And the rest kinda sound the same) it literally sounds like Jim Carey’s, “Wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?” There is no off switch and the slightest bump/press on an arm or leg makes it go off indefinitely. So you have to put it in a place where NOTHING touches it. God forbid it gets in your car somehow and left by a kid, darn thing almost caused a car accident. I struggle inwardly with if I should be a buzz kill to my child’s clear enjoyment of this toy and take it away, or remove the battery and preserve the small glimmer of sanity I have left. As such it creates feelings I wasn’t prepared to cope with. The creator clearly hates parents and has some unresolved parental issues they’ve decided to take out on the masses. I do NOT recommend this to for purchase, and if your child is gifted this as mine was, God speed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So - from a nostalgia pov, this a great toy, very turtle power. HOWEVER - if you have a younger child (say 3 or under), this is not for them. There are many small breakable parts that are easily torn off. This ended up being better for my husband than for my toddler! It's not very robust, but I can see how for older children it would be a win. I still think it's excellent - for sure.

Especially now they have brought out a new movie in the cinema. My nephew loved all the details and gadgets on the actual toy . It's a great size perfect for small hands

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not just for boys, my daughter loves Ninja Turtles so was over the moon with the Leonardo Ninja Shouts. It isn't too loud as some talking toys can be and seems very good quality. Only problem is she now wants them all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for any age that love tmnt, as even an adult could use this as a figure on a shelf. My boys have never heard of tmnt before, I've tried to get them to watch the film but they weren't interested. But age 5 and 3, they fought over this toy, they thought it was funny that it was a turtle, and came with a mini weapon. They made him make all the noises. I think il.buy another so they have one each.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grand daughter has been playing with this toy all the time. She has a collection of the old figures, it is a great addition. It is very robust and very well made, with lots of detail. Which is just as well as we have to play battles! It has the added benefit of sound effects and phrases. The accessories it comes with fits in this action figures hand and stays in. All in all great fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I opened this you, this reminded me of my childhood and now my son is loving it too. This ninja turtle is not soo small and not very big and thus good for kids over 4 years of age.
