Welcome to the streets of New York City, where the best pizza and human-mutant chaos reigns. It's up to the Turtle brothers to restore the peace in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed!
New mutants (or as the Turtles coined them, Mewbies) have been doing well to be accepted by the citizens. But that all changed when some mutants began wreaking havoc. From the sewer to the skyscrapers, no corner is safe from the mess oozing through the city. It's got TCRI corporation written all over it. Now, it is up to the fearless four to unleash their unique ninja skills and stop the madness before the human-mutant relationship they worked for goes down the drain. Use that adrenaline pumping through your veins to save the city and enlist the help of April and Splinter.

He's been playing this since we got it downloaded. The visual is great quality of sound and picture great. Easy controls he's 8 and loves games like this.

He saved some big old regular bubble containers & makes up new solution in those. He can vary how much concentrate he uses too depending on the size of the bubble wand they're using. Very economical, convenient, & better for the environment to avoid rebuying regular bubble containers

Will definitely be replaying the levels again, also shared with my husband who loved it as well. The sounds and performance were pretty good quality as well, and I would definitely recommend to family/friends.

I don’t usually play with the sound on when playing games but I can appreciate this one. I love how there is a story and it keeps going throughout the game. Fighting in this game is fun. It’s not difficult to beat the bad guy. My only downfall is that this game takes kind of long to load between scenes and it can get a bit annoying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game lags literally from the beginning and I wasn’t expecting that in the least! It’s pretty cool how you can have multiple save files and even go multiplayer. I will say definitely connect the switch to the dock so you can play on the TV if you have vision troubles or are going multiplayer. I even played with my nephew and he called it “the game that loads forever.” There’s quite a bit of cut scenes that he insisted we skip through. I watched them when I played but the play time to cut scene is pretty equal. If you’ve ever played anything like Lego Batman or even Little Nightmares the camera work is very similar. The main character moves across the screen but for the most part pretty centered and you can’t change the line of sight. The game isn’t awful but I also don’t think it’s something I’m eager to play. You also can’t choose your character, that depends entirely on where you are in the story.

The graphics are stellar and are the same unique style of the movie. He found the game easy to navigate and the cut scenes and other aspects to be very engaging as well. He’s had this on repeat since he got it and seems to be enjoying it quite a bit. I’ve also not heard any complaints or gripes like I have about other games he’s played. All in all, a winner he we love the nostalgia as parents who grew up on TMNT.

I was excited to see how much better the graphics are now. It’s always cool to see old games come back out with newer systems showing how much better they have become. The graphics were awesome and the game was just how I remember it running through the sewers fighting all the bad guys. Anyone who plays video games and like fighting weird animals in the sewer this game is the one. Plus all the people who played this prior to the new systems it’s a must to check out.

We LOVE that it is similar in animation style to the movie and connected to that storyline. The game did seem to take awhile to download but it could have just been because of our wifi connection. Every character makes the game so much fun to play. We enjoyed plenty of family-friendly competition that combined being simple and a bit of a challenge all in one game. Lots of fun for TMNT fans and for just playing an interesting interactive game.

If I could give zero stars I would. The graphics are terrible, everything takes forever to load, overall just extremely disappointing. My seven-year-old and I attempted to play it once and then try to return it, but they couldn’t accept it. Save your money.

The art is very unique and (even tho my husband hated this bit) I sorta enjoyed the new age feel of it. It kept the vibe of the old school show, but with newer lingo for the current age of kids. The controls are great and pretty cool! Sounds great, runs great and my kid loves it! No complaints here but if you’re like my husband and want it to be just like the original… you may not like it as much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TMNT: Mutants Unleashed has the heart and soul of the movie, and portrays the Turtles in all their weird, fun glory. Its depiction of modern teenagers is fantastic. In terms of gameplay, the Switch struggles to handle all of the art and assets required, and 30fps is sometimes a luxury. The combat loop is simple, but fun. There’s just enough there to enjoy some variety without being too overwhelming. Overall gameplay is very linear, with an above average amount of rehashing old levels or backtracking, I’d say. It’s an okay Turtles game on switch, on a more powerful console it’s probably a good turtles game, but it needs some more varied gameplay content to make it a great turtles game. Pros: The art, the voice acting, the writing. Cons: lots of rehashing, poor gameplay performance on hardware.

I play with my kids and they love it, mostly because I do, but that’s the best part. The load screens are plentiful, and a bit long for today’s consoles, to be honest. But that doesn’t keep me from playing it often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It may not be the perfect game, but it is great fun with family and kids, and for those of us that are older, getting to plays as one of your four favorite turtles friends, is a blast from the past. Graphics are good, could've been better. Action and fun is non-stop, quite colorful game, nice addition to your collection if you are a TMNT fan. Load screens take up the majority of the game and the actual gameplay is clunky, reparative, and without any real challenge.
